Transformers Titans Return Brainstorm 3-D Render

Posted by william-james88 Feb 19, 2016 at 8:58am CST 31,276 views
Weibo user Z-Multiplier, who has all the Titans Return images but is leaking them out slowly, has chosen now to finally leak a full image of the 3-D render of Titans Return Brainstorm.

We have attached this image below along with other images recapping both the previous image of the altmode (also courtesy of Z Multiplier) and the official Hasbro image of Titans Return Blurr for you to see which parts are new and reworked between the two.

Enjoy!

I just noticed that in the 3D renders of Blurr, his Autobot symbol rotates and changes the position. :-P

But not on the actual toy ;)

Brainstorm actually sort of works. The generations one still looks better, but that works for him :BOT:

Has anybody noticed that Soundwave was displayed in his base mode? #-o
Just detected him by looking at Scourge.

The actual funny thing about this is that he caught my attention on this pic:

Yup, I saw him, they were trying to show how the base modes interacted so they had blaster on one side and his mold twin on the other.

Yep, noticed that, too, but the ramps are way too steep. That's really dumb.

I dont think the ramps are supposed to be functional, but to simply conect them. And now we know how and where.

On Fort Max' shoulder is a red ramp:

And here we see it connected to Soundwave's blue ramp:

I think the ramps should be functional. Otherwise it's just a means for the purpose.

Maybe cos it's just more detailed but I think I'm liking that Brainstorm more than the Voyager one now. Still think it a bit strange that he got two figures in recent times when we still waiting for figures of other notable characters but whatever.

The only thing still bugging me is the ship mode nose bit. I dunno if anyone answered me before or even knows the answer but I'd still very much like to know if it can be put on his back. (actually looking at Blurr suggests that his alt mode nose can be stored on his back so I assume same is true for Brainy).

The upside down Autobot insignia on Blurr's altmode is bugging me a bit too. Not sure how that can be helped though. Maybe I'd remove that one, stick a Reprolabel one on his alt mode's nose in front of the cockpit and then for robot mode have one each on his shoulders like G1 Prime sorta thing.

Oh I am in full agreement with you, but its pretty evident that Hasbro is just using them as a means for the purpose.

I am pretty sure he cant. It just attaches to his arm just like the G1 Blurr toy which the original mold is imitating.

Thats why I preffer the voyager. But its still cool that Hasbro is releasing another brainstorm in a cost effective way so that fans can get all their headmasters in the right scale. They are being spared a lot of nerd rage by doing this.

And I dont mind Hasbro releasing the same character again, they do it every year with Prime and they just did it with Trailbreaker.

Blurr is okay, I might even pick him up if I ever see one in stores, but using that mold for Brainstorm is complete and utte Rd shit. So horribly inferior to the generations figure.

I was just wondering what's going on in this pic.

He's definitely got something on his back and not wearing it on his arms. At first I thought it was the back of the vehicle like on the old toy but I think the rear turns into his legs and if so then that must be the nose part on the rear unless I'm wrong. Which I nearly always am but I'm trying to be right. :P

:-? Yeah, I also assumed it was the vehicle like on his older toy. I dont mind if you are right, that would be great news for all of us, I always like options!

yes, i believe it said in comments one or two above yours that Blur/Brainstorm nose section can be stored on their backs! so that's probably the case

Guess who's right?

Carnivius Prime, that's who!

Your comments got me into obsessive mode and I found pics proving that they can be stored on their backs.:

Ah sorry I must have missed it. So much stuff gets posted in here it's difficult to keep up to date and not just jump ahead to the most recent posts. Either way I'm definitely interested in both Blurr and Brainstorm if that is definitely the case (even moreso if the nose cones have flip over onto the backs without partsforming if you want to ignore they use their vehicle mode fronts as shields).

Cool. Zoom into Blurr, it looks like there be a hinge behind the neck area so I'm hoping that's whatever piece the nosecones attach to can be used to simply flip those onto the backs without removing them. If so then great. :)

it's nothing new in having the kibble stored somewhere on the robot mode ;)

What's the rectangular piece on their nosecones that looks like it can swing out?

I guess it's a 5 mm peg to peg it somewhere into with a Headmaster sitting in it like we saw on a 3D render of Fort Max's base mode with Skullsmasher's tail.
