We received this following e-mail from Mattersmasher, which contains an e-mail he sent to Mastermind Creations and the answer he got from them:

I emailed Mastermind Creations about the possibility of a re-issue of their Knight Morpher Commander figure, including all the mould updates present in Knight Morpher Annihilator. While I was about it, I thought I'd ask the following additional question:

"is "Cyclops" actually Hearts of Steel Shockwave?"

Here is their reply:

"Hi Mattersmasher, we might do an upgrade for KMC later when we have back-orders from our resellers.
Shockwave is Cyclops for sure. He is in our plan, you can probably see his prototype in mid of 2011.

So it's confirmed Not-Harts of Steel Not-Shockwave is Mastermind Creation's next figure and we'll get our first look at it in mid 2011.

Bought, without seeing concept art or a prototype too. At least they are now straying into characters from the book. Fingers crossed for Starscream and the Insecticons.

For a less prominent third party, KMC was pretty good. I'll be interested to see more.

O yes! A thousand times yes! When I had contacted MMC they indicated that Starscream and Bumblebee would be the next figures and there was no plans for a Shockwave but this...o this is just fantastic!

That rendition of Shockwave is probably one of my favorite all-time renditions of any major character save perhaps the Blackbird-Jetfire. Either way...will buy, and probably will buy any repaint despite my hate for all things repainted...

I think MMC just broke my brain with awesome. Steampunk 'Formers are my favoritest concept ever. Bought as soon a preorders are posted.

If they ever do Screamer and the Seekers, my head will asplode.

I am betting that Shockwave will not be the next one released. We might see the prototype by mid 2011 but then it would probably be 2012 before it is actually released. I bet we will see probably Starscream before that with a release this fall. This is just my speculation. They also didn't confirm him as the next one, they just said he is in their plans. With the success of KMC and Annihilator, they will probably be cranking these out sooner. Although any design from HOS is gold. I just hope it's not Bumblebee because we don't need another train so soon. I could see BB being the third or fourth release.

It's cool no doubt but i'll stick with my G1.
Applaud the design though.
I'm looking forward to the actual figure images. In my opinion with this steampunk concept line it should be very heavy on paint apps to look spectacular. Which won't happen. I like to customize figures at times with paint but i'm not talented enough or patient enough to make this figure as dark and detailed as it should be.
I see lots of matt finishes with metallic rivets and ageing which equates to lots of work!

This does look cool and i agree another train wouldnt be a good idea maybe some other industrial revolution vehicles would be better like megatrons field cannon mode, the insecti-train maybe if they a train do a ratchet-ironhide rail car 2 pack

I suspect we'll be seeing an Ultra-Magnus version of the Train, then Starscream (I think I saw a proto somewhere) and then we'll see Shockwave.

I think I'll only get the HoS figs that were actually characters in the series.

I am remiss and have not picked up either version of the Commander mold, but this will be impossible to pass up. It will be kind of weird to have an awesome Victorian-era Shockwave and no g1/modern version... c'mon Hasbo, FansProject, or ANYBODY and give us an updated version of the definitive Decpticon commander.
