Hey all, I've just uploaded my video review of the Japanese version of RiD Deployer Crazybolt. Aside from me not getting the deployer gimmick to work I'm overly impressed with how great the deco looks on the Japanese one over the domestic one.

Huh. No display for Prime's vehicle mode. I wonder why...

Hmm, yeah, I think I like the smaller one over the Warrior class version. The Voyager is still the best so far though.

Didn't see this earlier, sorry for taking five days to reply! I think the little version is just as fun, since it essentially transforms the same exact way and you can move the elbows without fear. Plus it has a rockin' awesome clear T-Rex helmet that the T-Rex itself can wear.william-james88 wrote:Scotty P, do you find this smaller Grimlock to be as good as the Warrior class version?

Thanks
And hell yeah about that Voyager version! What I find fun about the smaller version too is that I can use it with my Legion RID figures to evoke Grimlock's size compared to his team.

YES! Would you mind adding your little cobo watermark and sending me that in a PM, I was just writing something that needed that. Also remember that photo of all those Scout and Legends class TFs you took. It had your united windchargers among the 4 scouts. I seem to have lost it. Pretty please with a cherry on top

Fellow Seibertronians, following the reveals of Masterpiece Cheetor, Inferno, and Thrust, as well as the reveal of Lynx Master, and courtesy of Autobase-Aichi, we get an expansive look at the upcoming TAV-50 Hyper Surge Optimus Prime, TAV-51 Hyper Surge Bumblebee, and many of the upcoming Microns that were on display at the Tokyo Toy Show, along with the new sub-heading: The Prime of Micron. Also on display are TAV-44 Bumblebee and Sideswipe Supreme Armor Set, TAV-45 Optimus Prime and Grimlock Supreme Armor Set, and TAV-46 Overload. Most of these are slated to hit retail in June or July. So what do you think of these figures? Interested in any of them? Make sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I don't think they possibly could have given Bumblebee a creepier smile.

I think the one on Fixit rivals it.

I got some goodies sitting in my private warehouse at HLJ. TAV Megatronus and Fracture were pivcked up during the summer sale. I wanted to get Quillfire but when I put my order in he was gone. I also preordered the Strongarm that comes with the minicon. I was all for the Hasbro one but Takara's deco is better. I'm hoping to ship those when Strongarm is in stock but ya know how things are.

Despite the awesomeness of the robot mode...Primus, that 'truck' is awful.

He's the new Cybertron Metroplex.
He's an amazing homage and an incredible robot mode, but the designers about 4/5 through development remembered "Oh shit, this guy's supposed to be a Transformer", and hastily folded him up into nothing and pretended it's a vehicle mode.

Gotta agree. His bot mode is bloody fantastic (though not a fan of face plate-less head) but that vehicle mode is a stretch...and I don't mean because of the length.

Dunno, I'm not psychic, but they usually move pretty well when they're new, but then stores order a ton, and then they sit...

I always doubt the possibility of an Optimus toy not selling well.
