Our very own Seibertronian Chuckdawg, has sent us notice of his latest review: Transformers GDO Generations Cyber Battalion Series Starscream.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Anybody in the mood for some Starscream? This figure is really good, what strikes me the most is if you look at the legs there's detailing molded in that screams (pardon the pun) knees were on the table at some point.

Well in such a short span, reviews have surfaced for the elusive Transformers Generations Cyber Series Line. We had Grimlock and Starscream reviewed and now we have Megatron. We still do not know if these will be available in north america or even available through BBTS since the listings have been pulled. So far, all that is left available to be ordered for anyone living outside Brazil is Bumblebee.

Enjoy the Megatron review from Baltmatrix which Hellscream999 sent our way!

Will Hasbro finally give RID a bit of a rest and bring these guys over already? :-(

I'm really kicking myself that I didn't jump on the entire line when BBTS had them. Don't know if/when I'll see the rest if ever.

They don't need to give RID a rest... I still need my deluxe thunderhoof :-x

They just need to stop kidding themselves that the stupid brick sh$t is an acceptable alternative to these, scrap that line and use the residual budget from that line to give all these figures appropriate articulation and paint apps >:oP

It's just a shame it doesn't have knee's, that sinks this to the level of a pointless joke in my books :(

Eh, I'm not very bothered. all of my figures are either standing straight up or in vehicle mode most of the time, and I can live with no knees when playing with them :BOT:

I am inclined to agree. I like these guys so much more than the 1 and 3 step stuff. And the Warrior numbers need to be bigger :BOT:

I would be too. All the reviews I've seen seem to indicate positive reaction for those not obsessed with posability :BOT:

Well, I'm happy for you, I cannot fairly say that, since they don't have knee's, they don't deserve to exist - because I know many collectors don't pose their figures. So I guess this works out really well for you Image

I don't want to get people's hopes up but, I have a feeling that closer to Christmas these will magically appear on shelves. These figures would make a GREAT Christmas present.

I'd still take these over the quick change garbage any day >:oP

However, I do acknowledge that they have a certain lackluster nature about them - combining a lack of paint and nearly non-existent articulation (as a whole set) to make a very mediocre line. All of which could easily be fixed by scrapping the quick change bricks and using that money to give these guys articulation and paint apps #-o

That Megatron is junk. Horrible design. Maybe wouldn't have been so bad if not released so soon to the much more imposing CW Leader design. This looks like it could have been any generic Decepticon tank trooper.

Starscream looks well done. Never been a big fan of G1 Starscream myself but I can see his fans being more than happy with that toy.

Baltmatrix has been a busy bee, it seems. First it was Cyber Series Grimlock, then it was Cyber Series Megatron, on top of his other video reviews! (He covers a bit of everything, really.)

As fellow Seibertron staffer william-james88 said in the Megatron news piece, "So far, all that is left available to be ordered for anyone living outside Brazil is Bumblebee." Which seems to be the case, but he's also one of the ones who hasn't received much in the way of fanfare or reviews (outside of a few written ones) and that's all about to change because Baltmatrix just posted a video review of the Cyber Commander Class Bumblebee!

This is the larger Bumblebee figure from the line and comes in at nearly 10 inches tall! Is this Bumblebee a worthy addition to your collection? Check out Baltmatrix's review to find out, which you can do in the embed below:
