I, like others have said like the design, but i'm waiting for a Decepticon repaint. Side Note: this guy's reviews are somewhat painful to me. Am I the only person?

Lol nope, he reminds me of Sean Long too much IMO

cool figure, transformation reminds me of rotf dirge. head sculpt and color scheme is a definite ringer for cybertron crosswise, also a cool figure. looks like peaugh's got some competition when it comes to getting toys early?!

I like his reviews, has just enough campy stupidity to make it amusing.
On to the figure, I think it looks pretty good, until you get to the calves. Those too skinny cankles and crappy feet make it seem like the designer just kinda gave up at the end. They almost seem like a leftover to make it just a little bay-ish. Not bad, but not a must have.
The repaint will have a new head, and the head mold is one of my favorite parts.

I made up my mind, Im gonna pass this one up. After seeing his power ranger looking head, I lost all interest in getting this figure.
Also, why does Hasbro make such huge missles that are twice as long as the launcher and extend out the back. This makes the vechicle mode look crappy. What happened to short missles that fit into their launchers like G1 figures have ?

Safety laws happened. I believe that they use then extended missle type as opposed to oh, say G1 Ultra Magnus mini rockets because the long modern ones would be more difficult for a child to swallow, even if it is easier to gouge their eye out.

It wasn't a must-buy for me, until I watched that video.

Whew... glad I'm not the only one. I appreciate reviewers, but I tend to see the more prominent reviewers as kinda annoying sometimes. For a moment I think... do I fall into this category? Are all other collectors like this? In this particular hobby, I don't mind being the black sheep. Again though, I appreciate what the reviewer does, just not quite his execution.
Aside from that, the toy looks cool. I see some really cool HFTD toys, but its connected to the movie line... and I really dislike most of the movie line. Maybe HFTD will change that.

One way or another they are gonna get hurt. I never understood why something as complex as ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime should be ages 5 and up. If a child is young enough (and dumb enough) to swallow a missle their parents should not be buying them Transformers. Thats why we have Barney the purple Dinosaur.
I always wondered if I cut and sanded down the long missles (on ROTF Dirge for example) would they still hold in place and fire ???

Awesome looking figure. It's going to be really hard to wait on buying this one. I'd planned on getting the repaint only if it looks good, but I might need this one too.

What, you don't like the annoying voice, dorky commentary and over-expression? (CHOPPAH...CHOPPAH....CHOPPPAHHHHH!)

Yep, I really see no need to act pointlessly childish, just to be "entertaining",you could just give a review on the figure and be done with it. Now, there are people that are good at doing funny reviews, i.e. Vangelus and TJOmega, but the reason why they are funny is the fact that they don't inject obvious and uncreative humor.
That being said, I appreciate that this guy gets the figures early, just not how he reviews them.

Should without a problem. But just so you know when I was a wee little boy I got an Ultra Magnus missle stuck in my throat.
PS: Vange1us's reviews are always great, even if it's Kamen Rider(which I despise).

As long as you know where the catch of the missile is i.e. where the launcher grabs and holds the missile, and if it goes right through the launcher, you can cut and sand down the back end.
