Beijing Comic Con goers were treated to a display of Vinyl Statues from Vintage Arts Soap Studio Transformers Collection, and artist Daniel Khanna. Beautifully capturing the spirit of the 1980's Transformers G1 series, these figures are being produced in limited quantities and in varying schemes. Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, and Bumblebee are already on the way (slated for release this month), but now they're to be joined by Cybertronian alt modes of Starscream and Bumblebee! Before the Bee was a VW Bug, he was a... disk thing, and the pre-earth Seeker for is commonly referred to as the Tetrajet. See them below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com: home for the best Galleries and Conversation around!
We have some news regarding the officially licensed Soap Studio figures of Optimus Prime, as designed by Dan Khanna and endorsed by Peter Cullen, and their new promotion in conjunction with Milk Mart and the Chinese International Comics Festival (CICF): the VAA01 Optimus Prime statuette, in opaque plastic! There is also a rusty version of the figure found on the company's weibo account, but you can check out all the images and info below.
We have some new images and information from Soap Studios via their Weibo account, featuring some colour versions of their vinyl statues of Starscream and Megatron (in Dan Khanna's G1 style) - as had already been the case for Optimus Prime - plus teasers for Reflector and Bumblebee. Check it all out below.
