In what seems to be the last update in the plethora of War For Cybertron news today, the official website for the game has been updated. The newest uploads include information, features and character descriptions for several of the main Autobots and Decepticons. Among the character updates, the alternate mode for Soundwave is revealed. Also in the pre-order page of the website, we get the first glimpse at the official game covers for various consoles. Check out a snippet of what the content the website now contains, while the rest can be seen here.

Oh no. Its a sound wave that transforms into a truck! Oh Why Oh Why Oh Why oh never mind.

Actually I'm really looking forward to this game but only have a WII. I am not hardcore gamer enough to warrant an X box or PS3

Who really cares about alt modes. I was more interested in their bio's and personallity traits. From the sounds of it they are all spot on.

My sources tell me, along with Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, we'll be getting figures of Starscream and Soundwave too. Looking at the main roster on the Characters page, I guess Ratchet is likely as well.

I like Soundwaves personality info there. "Obedient, arrogant, intelligent, superior, emotionally detached". It's not arrogance when you're superior, it's fact! :lol:

Why does the Wii version have the coolest cover?

Anyway I'm pretty sure there will be a collectors version with a different cover and some random crap thrown in.

Pretty cool stuff here. :D

I think that 'superior' is a knowing reference to Soundwave's immortal line in the '86 movie. ;)

Who is the Jazz-looking Autobot on the preorder section? The only info I've found so far is Shockwave & Demolishor.

I don't know where, but I heard that in this game we will learn why Starscream hates Megatron so much.

Can't wait for the game. I'm definantly getting it for xbox and not wii.
