It wouldn't be unlike Walmart to be holding out for Black Friday as well. Something new and exclusive to snag the impulse buyers that day.

Wow, toys that have been on the shelves since before TLK was in theatres. Not impressed.

Unreleased Transformers: The Last Knight Walmart Exclusive Legion Two Packs Appearing at Ross

Several Walmart exclusive Autobots Unite toys from Transformers: The Last Knight have still not been found at Walmart, either online or in stores, in the US. These include the three sets of legion two packs as well as a two pack of one steps which include Bumblebee and Hot Rod. As has been seen in the past, movie toys unreleased this late in the game have appeared at market six stores, like Ross and TJ Maxx, where big box stores like Toysrus and Walmart dump their stock instead of putting it on their own shelves.
Well The Last Knight might be following that trend. Transformers Fan Sunsetter has found the Autobots Unite legion two pack featuring Bumblebee and Hot Rod at Ross in Montebello, California, for $5. There is no word on the other two packs which feature Optimus Prime and Ravenspar and Megatron and Berserker. There are also no images for this sighting yet so if you do find these at Ross, please send us an image or post it on the message boards.

And as with all sightings, to share the news with other fans, you can use our sightings section and sightings forum.

Below are images of the figures possibly appearing at Ross to give you an idea or what to be on the lookout for.

That's just speculation, Will, right? Neither Wal-Mart or Hasbro has come out and said that's the case. I mean, it's probable, but there's still a chance we might see him in the black Friday or christmas restocks.

Not speculation, I am just stating the current reality. The person asked where delue hot rod was and the only place to get him was online at walmart. We dont need an official confirmation and it probably wasnt the original plan, but thats whats happening. The CW Boxsets were never mentioned to be online only for the US, but thats what they ended up being in reality.

But that's not inherently true. I've personally seen the G2 Menasor and Superion box sets at TRU.

The TLK line isn't over until it's over, so there's still a chance we'll see him (at least somewhere in the US). Like I said, it's probable what you're saying is true, and I agree that the distribution of this line was one of the biggest missteps in hasbro's recent history.

Yes! The G2 Superion shelfwarmed in my TRU's clearance isle for months, before finally disappearing. I didn't realise seeing one was so rare.

In fact I even made mention of it over in the TR thread back when it first disappeared.

Anyways, I was mainly referring to Walmart for the CW sets, and comparing them to this hot rod. They end up being practically online exclusive even if its not intended (although I do remember talking to o.supreme about how the bo sets werent being found at retail, but whatever). And to be honest, I dont see how it makes a difference him being on the shelves or not. Arent fans happy that they can select the toy they want directly online instead of hoping it shows up at retail? No need to fight off the scalpers or fear that a kid's parents buys it before you?

I find you guys super lucky, no Hot Rod product will ever get to Canada. For some reason, Walmart doesnt send all its movie exclusives to Canada. Has been the case since I started collecting.

Just earlier today we reported that there was a chance that the supposed Wal-Mart exclusive Transformers The Last Knight Legion Class Two Packs might be appearing at Ross in the US! This was, at that time, just a possibility, but now we have proof that these figures, and a couple more, are appearing at Ross!

Coming from Seibertron reader Richard on Twitter, these photos show all the legion packs with their respective Ross receipt, and a different Wal-Mart exclusive one step changer two pack featuring Hot Rod and Bumblebee! These were all intended to be exlusive to Wal-Mart in the US, but never showed up in that particular store. It looks like Wal-Mart has sent these out to the discount chain. Check out the user submitted photos below!

This is like two movies in a row where the entire line didn't make it out to mass retail. I'd be down for that Bumblebee Hot Rod two pack. For those of you wanting Dlx Hot Rod, I would not wait to find it in stores. If it doesn't come out at retail expect secondary prices to shoot up.

A new TJMaxx just opened near me so I was hoping to find some new stuff, but unfortunately it was the same stuff as the other stores have. Not a single Transformer logo in the store. Looks like Ross and Winners are the discount stores of choice this year for Transformers. Too bad Ross hasn't gone any further north east than New Jersey.

I'm a sucker for good Legion figures, so I will get Hot Rod, Berserker (and rename him) and Ravenspar. Don't know what I'll do with the rest... btw I'm still recording product numbers ;)

Man that is sweet. I have two Ross and one Marshalls near me, but the toy sections have been bulked up with total crap. I have not seen one Transformer item yet this year. I also look for Legos and nada. I really want Hot Rod and Megs at those prices. I hope they do show here soon.

Just yesterday we posted a rumor (and then confirmation) that the Wal-Mart exclusive Autobots Unite Legion Class Two Packs would start to appear at Ross stores in the US. Now we have some in hand images of all the figures in the packs, Bumblebee and Hot Rod, Megatron and Berserker, and Optimus Prime and Ravenspar. As mentioned above, these figures were supposed to be exclusive to Wal-Mart in the US, but reportedly never showed up. Wal-Mart has now apparently made the decision to pass these on to Ross, which is move of a discount store here in the US.

These images come to us again from Seibertron reader Richard on Twitter, the same person who first found the packs in Ross. Check the photos out below!

Deluxe Cogman from Transformers: The Last Knight

PostPosted: Fri Nov 10, 2017 9:43 pm
by william-james88
Many fans are still wondering if Cogman will appear at retail stores or not, due to him being part of the final wave of the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline and the trend of tail end toys to be harder to find. The fact that just today we have confirmation that late coming Walmart exclusives have been sold to market six stores and will not show up at their initially designated retail outlet are further cause to fear. But I bring good news, Cogman has been found at Canadian retail. He and his wavemates (who can all be seen in the image below) were found at EB Games, Canada's Gamestop. He was found at the retail price of $29.99 CAD in Quebec City by Cybertron.ca member Keoth. This is a good sign that this same wave will come to other retailers in both Canada and the US.

The last wave of RiD Minicons (Tricerashot et al) also showed up at Canadian retail but never in the states. :-(
