Seibertron.com just received word from staff member Supreme Convoy, who attended the IDW TF comic book panel at SDCC 2011, that IDW has confirmed Transformers #81 through #100 is going to happen. This will be a continuation of the original fan-favorite Marvel comics run to be penned by Simon Furman and illustrated by Andrew Wildman (the original team that worked on the final classic Marvel TF comics). Is Infestation 2: Transformers issue 1 a horror from the deep or just a horror? Because Lovecraft Steering clear of making direct references to HP Lovecraft's work apart from to drop his name in the adverts, this book is unashamedly influenced by it and, as a cross-over concept, works better than the Vampire/Zombie hybrid theme from the first series.
