July 1st, 2011 - Transformers Live Action Movie Director Michael Bay has confirmed the official release date for the next installment of the Transformers film franchise. In the Official Michael Bay Forum, the director posted a message to announce this wonderful news: "Well it's official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Seibertron.com member Razorclaw0000 has alerted us towards something very cool at DeviantArt. Artist Dan Khana has posted 3 very interesting pieces of of Energon Optimus Prime and Megatron. This artwork was meant to be the boxart for two Target exclusive repaints from the Transformers Energon line which eventually got cancelled.
