Actual Transforming Cars for the Future anyone

If by any chance car developers in the future develope cars that can actually Transform into robots, the people driving the vehicles could also use the pedals and steering for the driver to move the robot while inside the drivers seat section but they would certainly not use them in battle because that would end up becoming a collosal waste of money
