Alternator Ravage is now available in Japan. I saw him in at Herogangu, in Osaka. His preice Y7,800. The box had "Hasbro Canada" written on it.

Is the box styling any diffent from the UK Release though? The ones I've seen on ebay all appear to be marked up as before.

In that case I'd say it's an import and not domestacally available in Japan.
