I did not get a Quakewave, so this re-issue is great for me. I feel my goal of G1 S1 Decepticons getting closer with these 3rd Party releases (Reflector and Insecticons) just in time for TF:TM Decepticons by X-Transbots (they HAVE to make a Galvatron, right?!)!

CHUGs gotta go on my end too. And Bayverse. And Star Wars. THEN I'll be all over the rest of the Takara MP and the 3P Autobots. I've heard good things about KFC, and I'm looking forward to that BadCube Sunstreaker. The good thing about all of these releases is that there's enough time for a Takara version to be announced before they are released (in most cases).

Also, Devastator is amazing. He's imposing and huge and awesome!!

Sorry I could have sworn you'd snagged ol' Quakey, Great news for you then mate, there's also the other 3rd Party Shocky coming out. I gotta say those X-Transbots figure are looking great, I'm pretty confident that TT will come up with the goods though.

Never owned a KFC figure, I gather they had a questionable rep a couple of years back but their Blaster was considered a step up in quality. Sunstreaker I'm not sure about, I think I prefer Omni's version, whilst not toon accurate I think he fits better with Sideswipe. That's what I love about 3rd Party products so many options.

I wish I ad room for Devy as I'd be all over the Takara version.

And those X-Transbots figures (after getting Apollyon) can't get here fast enough. As I mentioned, they have to have Galvatron planned. It would be awesome to have Apollyon and not-Galvatron be the bookends for Andras and Eligos. Can't wait to start selling things off. I'll feel much better about these purchases. Still figuring out which Insecticons and Reflector I want. And I really think you should make space for the TT Devastator

It's the best filler until an MP (like all of the 3rd Party MP fillers :lol:

I prefer Fans Toys Shocky also, I'd be all over any pre orders of Quakey if I were you mate. I'm happy to wait out on Cyclonus, Scourge and Galvatron, I'm pretty dammed sure TT will get around to thos bad boys. With regards to Reflector:

I already pre-ordered the FT-03T version!

I also feel like I'm leaning more towards Fans Toys for Spotter and their Grenadier, Mercenary, and Forager. I think as a set they seem nicer compared to BadCube's Evil Bug Corp. I wish FT would release a set like BadCube, saving money would be nice. And the $60 difference between the three of each (FT vs BC) may sway me toward BC, I could pick up another figure with the savings!! I should probably plan my attack..

Good job on securing Quakry, he will not disappoint.

I'm gonna wait it out on the Insecticons, I prefer TansToys TBH, put it will come down to price for me as there's a few figures on the horizon than take precedence. Re-watching the reviews for Quakewave, I'm getting pretty excited!!

The three FT not-Insecticons total $240USD before tax/shipping, the BadCube versions come in a set together for $190USD before tax/shipping. The only BadCube one I'm not necessarily sold on is the Kickback version, who happens to be the only G1 original 3 Insecticons I don't have! They all seem to be a good mix of G1 toy/animation..but, $50 is $50. Yeah Takara might make them (as with all of the 3rd Party MPs Takara hasn't made yet), but a good figure is a good figure

Reflector on the other hand..I'll go show accuracy over toy accuracy any day (I have the G1 toy, and wish he looked like the show version :lol:

Re-watching the reviews for Quakewave, I'm getting pretty excited!!

The three FT not-Insecticons total $240USD before tax/shipping, the BadCube versions come in a set together for $190USD before tax/shipping. It's nice when the price difference between items can go towards another item :grin:

For me this seems to be the year of the Decepticons: XTB Megatron, CW Devastator, XTB Scourge and Cyclonus, one of the Reflectors, FT Shockwave, one of the Insecticon sets. Then all I need is a Galvatron and I've completed what I want from the Decepticons in a MP scale.

I feel like I'm so close..so very very close to conquest!!

I'm pretty sure KFC's comes with a mini camera too, not sure about FansToys though.

I don't unfortunatly, I do have X Transbots Apollyon (X Transbots and KFC are said to be sister companies) based on that figure I'm hopeful Reflector will be fairly solid. So soon? Blimey! I was thinking next month based on having only just seen the test shots.

Also, if XTB and KFC have the same quality, I'm in agreement with you about Apollyon. Mine had just a few flaws and they were fixed within a few weeks by replacement parts. Haven't had any problems since, and I've transformed him a lot! That's why I'm on board for their Scourge and Cyclonus, if they can make a complex figure like Apollyon work then Andras and Eligos should be a breeze!!

Same here, Apollyon been fine for me, us kfc's Blaster and Magnus figures got good reviews so I'm thinking Reflector will be there or thereabouts.

Plan for collection so far is:

Wheeljack

Starscream (MP11)
Tracks\Quakewave on pre-order.

Just seen MP09 on sale lose but with all accessories.

Should I change me plan and get hotrod whilst I can or is it best to stay the course and collect in an order so I dont run out of cash for items I really want?

That list looks great, pretty much identical to my pecking order upon starting out. With regards to MP-09, I assume your talking about the TF-Direct loose version? If so I would recommend it, beware though he often comes miss-assembled, I had to re-assemble the roof/canopy section and modify the ankle tilts. Although I haven't had the Hasbro version but many have told me he's a POS and pretty much falls apart mearly by existing.

I personally would snag Screamer, Bee and Magnus and go for Roddy (if you don't mind having to fix him up a bit) from TF-Direct. The rest are all gravy, bare in mind that's just my opinion.

The TF Express ones are the same as the TF Direct ones, however TF Express are asking that the factory fix any issues prior to shipping, if I were you I would defiantly get one from them, my versions been great. I'd wait for the TrU Screamer if I were you, that's if we ever get it over here, we usually get screwed when it come to MP's in the UK.
