Any INHUMANOIDS fans out there ?

Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

It's weird that they thought MOTU was their biggest competition when the two lines couldn't be further apart. Then again that was basically the only major boys toy on shelves that wasn't made by Hasbro in '87. Imagine if Ninja Turtles had come out a year earlier.

I have a question: What released Inhumanoids toys didn't make it to the show as characters? Please help.

Pretty sure all of the toys were in the show.

All of the 1986 range was promoted in the opening shorts/movie/miniseries. Per the briefing binder photos earlier in the thread, most of the unreleased 1987 range got promotion in the 8 half-hour episodes.

Ok, great, they're all on the show. Here's a toy-guide site I just found:

https://www.figurerealm.com/actionfigur ... st&id=1506

Is this all of it?

Found the episodes on youtube:

I actually watched the entire series on YouTube several years back and loved it. Sadly, between the rights issue (they were planned to show up in IDW's GI Joe but had to be replaced by the Fatal Fluffies because Hasbro lost the rights to the characters themselves), the rising price of plastic that would skyrocket a line with consistently large figures like the titular Inhumanoids (which were already too expensive for the 80's), and Hasbro's recent plans to focus on fewer (read: currently making a lot of money) brands, it's unlikely it'll come back anytime soon.

The sad thing is, back in 2014 and 2016, Hasbro tried their hand at horror movies with two Ouija films. And I keep thinking Inhumanoids would have made a great action-horror movie.

Wow...I thought for sure I posted in this thread a while back...oh well. I loved Inhumanoids as a kid, although the first time Sandra was "Decomposed" was definitely the stuff of nightmares.

I tell ya between that, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and TF:TM, we kids of the 80's (especially 1986) had to be tough ;) .

I got the first 2 DVD volumes Rhino released 20+ years ago... I guess a 3rd volume to finish the series isn't going to happen  . No worries though, I've long since obtained those last 4 episodes via other means, and I'm sure they are all on Youtube (they were last I checked anyway). This show, along with Robotix, and Visionaries were ones I definitely wish would have continued.

Oh, also when I was in my late teens/early 20's goign to college, I started writing a fanfic about the Inhumanoids crossing over with Ultraman. Of course I never finished it, but it was a great concept. In the Ultraman universe, Monsters (Kaiju) are usually unintelligent animals, and Aliens (uchujin) are the intelligent ones.

For an Ultraman to encounter Monsters that were intelligent was I thought a novel idea, and while the Inhumanoids might be a little smaller in scale I think the sizes could be *fudged* enough to make it work.

Currently putting an appeal out to anyone who bought/received any of the items Flint Dille sold off two years ago to get in touch with the Sunbow Marvel Archive, as I'm looking to get clearance on the items that remain. May as well use this thread to show what is left from Inhumanoids

Three sets of storyboards: two of Negative Polarity. The first one is a rough draft with half of Act II incomplete. A post-it note found stuck to the set noted that this was how it was shipped to Flint.
Image

And the later final revision version, which also includes the script for an unproduced recap telling us of the deleted ending to Cult Of Darkness
Image

Lastly, a final revision version of The Masterson Team. Combined with what has been granted public release, we're talking a run of 4 consecutive episodes.

That would be pretty cool. Super 7 is about the only company that I could see doing this any justice with figures from every size up to 24". It wouldn't be cheap, but it sure would be a sight.

I was thinking something similar about super 7 and Inhumanoids.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
No, I am not friendly online or in real life.
I look forward to attending a Botcon only to settle matters with idiots in person.

While there has been no luck regarding those three full sets earlier in the thread, I have rounded up some more Inhumanoids storyboard, this time from Cypheroid

Thanks to Monzo over at tfwiki, the Archive now has the earliest Marvel Comics treatment for Inhumanoids. Written by Tom DeFalco when the toyline was known as The Force Of Light, some of the earliest building blocks for the show and toyline can be found within.
