I'm the one who leaked the Megatron image, and I've posted series spoilers before over at other boards...but it would appear some are unfamiliar with Animated details over here. So if you guys want show spoilers, feel free to ask me whatever you want about the show. I'll do my best and clear up some rumors, ect.

is jetfire gonna be in it?

does megatron get repainted as galvatron? is ultra magnus a white version of prime and are there other decepticons similar to starscream except for their colour-schemes?

No repaint/toy questions...just TV show questions.

Megatron starts out looking like the movie version we've seen in the promo poster...he's dark gray and black with his arm canon (which makes the G1 sound when fired), then he ends up as a head, then I'm guessing he's rebuilt as the earth version we've seen pics of.

Ultra Magnus looks likes G1 Magnus, just in the new animated style.

Other jets? I don't know.

Although when they make him as a prime repaint, it normally just means that I'm going to buy Magnus instead of prime.

Is it true that the Dinobots made by Megatron this go round or is it just the usual?

I only have info for the first couple of episodes. I can answer questions about the Dinobots, how the series begins, feels, ect.

Anyways, could ye put up a list of characters that appear in the episodes ye've seen? And what be thar human characters like? Be they irritating like Armada or be they ok like... um I'll think of some eventually... Aargh! Oh well, thanks anyway

How do you know if I'm legit? I provided that picture of Megatron's head. Oy vey.

Instead of just listing everything I know, just list specific questions, I'll answer them all later. I know a lot about the first 3 episodes, and I know a lot about the Dinobots, if that helps you with what types of questions you might want to ask.

Will this be shown in the non Pay TV version of CN?

The Decipticons get a lot of screentime on Part 1, then Starscream alone is the main bad guy. After that...humans, and Megatron's head every now and then.

When does Sentinel Prime show up?

Sentinel Prime is on the first episode. Optimus talks to both him and Magnus on a computer screen. They're both Op's superiors. SPrime is blue and yellow...he's actually in the Comic Con footage/trailer thingy. If you watch it, there's a Bot with search lights on his head, and he's looking down at someone tied up, and he has a shield. That's SPrime. He's kind of lighthearted with Optimus, Ultra Magnus is more serious and strict.

Shockwave, I don't know. Blitzwing has different heads and personalities. His head spins. One of them is a silly german accent. Lugnut is very loyal to Megs. BlackA is the same as BW. They're all on the first ep, then they desert Starscream, who continues his quest for the AllSpark alone.

Keep in mind, I saw the shows at different times, so this info changed and was revised over time...but I don't have the time to edit...these are just copied and pasted. Enjoy!

The series begins with a three part story called "Transformers and Roll Out". The footage shown at comiccon on the ship is from the beginning of the first episode. They're watching some old G1 footage on a screen, recapping the history of Cybertron. It doesn't feature any major characters though...just random Autobots.

The Autobots fight the Decepticons right away. We see Blackarachnia, Starscream and Megatron. Sounds like BW Blackarachnia.

At some point they lose Megatron or something and Starscream is on the ship saying he is now the leader of the Decepticons, then he notices he's all alone. Nobody's listening.

The Bots come to Earth, and it says like 100 years later and we meet the kids and some professor character. They're looking at this like, slug monster with tenticles, and that's what the Autobots end up fighting. A slug monster. Starscream also shows up and demands the all spark.

There's a scene where Optimus is injured and he turns black like in the movie...they open his chest and maybe see the Matrix...or a spark. Like I said, this was all quick views of the stuff.

On another episode there's a guy who looks like a fat Green Arrow or Robin Hood character. On another they fight a super villian. But the scientist character works with Megatron's damaged head. The head of Megs is like, hooked up to computers in his lab and gives him orders. They create the Dinobots.

Grimlock sounds and looks like G1, and even says "Me Grimlock". I don't think Slag and Swoop talk. Grimlock transforms only in the last second of his first episode.

But I was impressed, it was better than the Japanese shows of late. Lots of G1 nods, and there appeared to be no music on the show. Not a lot of comedy either, but I didn't see the human parts. The kids look weird, very cartoony. Bumblee and the girl appear to have a friendship. The first few episodes seem to be character based with no Decepticons.

I didn't catch enough of Grimlock in action...he breathes fire and at the end of his first episode he transforms for the first time and goes "I like this" or something. I guess he didn't know he could do that. Also, Megs tells him if he suceeds he'll create Grimlock an army of Dinobot warriors.

Oh yeah, and the humans question that was asked. When we first see the girl, she's with a lot of kids outside. They look really silly...one boy just has dots for eyes. But I remember like for a few minutes it's just humans...the scientist, the kids, some cops. In later episodes it's just the girl and the scientist though. And the human bad guys of course.

Before coming to earth, Megs transforms into a jet like in the movie, and has an arm canon. His original mode is dark gray and black. His head on earth is all damaged, very cyborg-looking with one eye damaged.

The bots that are on the poster appear to be the core group for the first few episodes. Other than the Dinobots, I saw no new characters popping up. Just humans. There was a whole episode that seemed to focus on Bumblebee and the girl. Ratchet gets a lot of screentime, as does Starscream, with his super long chin. The animation is very bright and cartoony, but it works for the world they've set up. Much more interesting to look at than the clunky Cybertron stuff.

Yeah, Nanosec sounds right...I knew it was Nanotech or Sec. The first episodes are "Transformers and Roll Out", then there's "Nanosec", "Blast from the Past" and "Home is Where the Heart is"...I forget the others.

Slag and Swoop...they don't transform, because when Grimlock finally does, it's like a surprise to them. I'm sure they do have abilities, I just didn't get to see them. Grimlock had his fire breath, and I think a sword. At the end of their first episode they're trapped in like a pit, and he transforms...obviously setting them up for a return with a better understanding of their abilities.

I feel like the first couple of episodes will focus on the main group, and new guys will come later on...much like on BW, where like, Tigatron didn't show till episode 6.

Don't quote me on a lot of this stuff, like "there were no Decepticons", because it's possible they were in footage I didn't see...but as far as personalities, Megs seems to be typical Megs...serious, he's the leader type. Starscream is not so much Armada/Cybertron style, where he seemed rather dull. He's G1 Starscream, but like, kicked up a couple notches. We saw that in the clip on Youtube. He talks a lot, boasts a lot, and that long face of his is very animated. Blackarachnia was just sitting at a control panel on the ship...she was serious...no signs of her bitchy or traitorous side in the one scene.

As for the Autobots, Optimus just doesn't seem right. He sounds very young...his battle mask only comes up in battles. Bumblebee is young and energetic. Ratchet seems to be older, talks to Optimus a lot in the first ep. I notice one of his horns looks cracked, or broken off on his head. I guess he's an older bot. Prowl seemed serious. Again, the Bots didn't really interest me, so I didn't pay too much attention.

But the good thing is, they're playing the Bots straight. It's not over the top silly or dumb humor. The style reminds me of shows like X-Men Evolution...where it's played straight, but the comedy comes from the characters. It looks like the humor will come from the humans. That bow and arrow guy looked ridiculous though. When the first episode came on, with the G1 footage, I seriously thought I wasn't watching the new show. It's all archival footage from cybertron. There were lots of blueish Autobots ...Im sure they're from G1 episode on Cybertron....maybe there are pics online somewhere of these guys. But I look forward to sitting down and actually getting to watch it when it comes on TV! You should too!


Ratchet fought in the Great War, megatron's been around for years, is very feared.

Optimus is a bit of a rebel, Sentinel Prime is his superior, Ultra Magnus looks like G1 Magnus.

Blitzwing has the personalities, his head spins and lands ona new head ala Alpha Q. Different voices for different heads.

There's a big decepticon with one cyclops eye.

Typical Blackarachnia attitude.

All the Bots have different types of weapon/tools hands ala G1...also, super power-like.

The nemesis ship looks like it did on beast wars.

Teletran 1 and the Space Bridges are used. T1 looks like the little satelite thingy that went out and scanned their Earth modes in G1.

Bumblebee's Wheelie-like.

Starscream places a bomb on meg's back, it goes off when he's fighting the Bots. He fights them on their ship, and is gets sucked out of the ship into space. He crashes on earth in the scientist's backyard when he was a kid. So I guess that's why he has his head...he's had it since childhood.

The Autobots go into stasis, crash at the bottom of Lake Eerie, where they remain...their base is underwater. The show thakes place 50 years later.

Starscream is alone, searching for the Allspark so the Decepticons will follow him.

The girl is NOT annoying.

So yeah, not MAJOR spoilers, but some really neat stuff. Even if you're not into the animation...I think fans will be impressed by the amount of effort the team behind this has poured into it. Seems like some real G1 love, and BW love. The show doesn't have those dull moments from the last 3 shows, where no one talks or moves. It's fast paced, colorful...and played straight. The humor comes from the human/Bot interaction. It's kinda like RID, where they were living in the city. There's a scene where ratchet gets parking tickets, transforms and they fall off. The action's great too. There's a really awesome Starscream/Optimus battle where Op sinks his axe into SS's wing!

Reason for Optimus turning black...

During the Starscream/Optimus fight, they're battling over the All Spark. It opens up and the power incinerates Starscream (that's what it looks like, but we know he'll be back) Optimus is knocked to the ground, and dies. The girl has some key thing that heals Bots...I really have no clue what that's about, didn't see enough...but she brings him back.

This whole scene is very much an homage to the movie.

Girl: No, he can't die! (starts crying)
Bulkhead: I don't think that leaking thing you're doing will bring him back.

At 00:59 - Teletran 1, scanning Earth vehicle modes.

01:28 - Megs (with arm cannon) flying onto Bots' ship.

01:29 - The key thingy...I'm not going to say it's the Key to VS, simply because I'm not even sure it WAS a key...but she wears it around her neck...Prowl is also seriously injured in battle, with a big hole in his chest...she puts the thing on him and heals him, and his chest heals and seals back up.

01:59 - Cop grabbing cannon is from the Dinobots ep...I think he's firing at them.

02:06 - The Megs toy...robot mode doesnt look like his first mode,but the the jet mode is what we see on the first ep.

Also, the other Comic con footage, with all the Bots doing stuff...that's from the first few minutes of the pilot...that thing they find IS the All Spark.
