Wait, are you paid to appraise toys for insurance reasons, or are you just stating that you are well versed in current toy prices, and can accurately judge the worth of a collection?
I keep putting off getting mine 'officially' appraised for insurance purposes (it's getting that big, and valuable, I believe), but if I knew someone in the area who did it, I would be highly motivated!

I usually just offer my services to people who are looking to sell their collections and want to know how much they can expect to get for them. I'm not liscenced or anything so I don't know that I could do it for insurance purposes. I've tried to look into doing it in a more official capacity but all I can ever find on getting liscenced are real estate classes. Most of the people I deal with are just directed to me from the comic store I go to (and sometimes work at).

I don't work at Comic City. I work at Back to the Past in Livonia. I can't remember who from the Michiganders thread works at Comic City. I think it's RodimusConvoy13, maybe?
