So I'm customizing a figure. And I've got an inkjet printer. And I've got a Xyron sticker maker. What's the best kind of paper the throw in my printer and then sticker maker to get as close as I can to the official old-school metallic silver faction symbol stickers?
Failing that, what's the best paper for glossy white surface?
Did you ever figure this out? I want to make a sheet for printing on transfers. Want to put the autobot symbol on the shoulders of my Warhammer League of Votaan Autobots (slight modding/paint scheme).
Unfortunately, no. I just used plain white paper, so there's no silver edge, and after running it through the sticker maker, I put a layer of tape on top to give it a shiny look.
In hindsight, I could probably have made the be background a very light gray, and that might have made it look slightly more like silver after he tape was applied, but I didn't have her idea until after I already applied the stickers to the figure.
