I hate redecos of existing figures just as much as the next guy. I cant help but think of the snake hunter line in the 2000 line of the god like motu line done by the 4 horseman that was killed due largely to limited ability to acquire figures and the redecos.
So back on topic, That optimus looks pretty neat and close as hell to a classics verion! If you were to take the whole dragon disc attachment off his back and add some smoke stacks hed be pretty darn close to perfect. Granted the pic of him is blurry but I could see enough to make that deduction. What do you guys think of him?
They also said hed be a bit larger than leader class. Thats good news to me because for all the love I have for my classics voyager prime and megs They just dont quite fit into the classics delux scale. Too large ya know?
So hopefully this prime will be just perfect in scale and look.
Also hoping for a megs that pays as much homage to the classics version of the character as the optimus prime appears to pay.
I am currently using the war for cybertron versions but If the beast hunter prime is a bit larger than him thatd be perfect!
So dose anyone know of a megs being developed with this line and if so dose he look as close to classics as prime appears to look?
Also how large is leader class? Smaller than voyager but larger than deluxe?

Just for future reference, it's easier if you comment on a figure in an ongoing thread alreday dedicated to that figure!

The only question I can answer is the last one: Leader class is larger than Voyager, which is larger than Deluxe.

The current classes, in ascending order, are: Cyberverse Legion, Cyberverse Commander, Deluxe, Voyager and Powerizer, Leader and Weaponizer, Ultimate (with Predaking and OP).

Maybe not in scale for some of the mini-bots, like Bumblebee, but he's in perfect scale with those that are meant to be larger guys (like Ironhide).



We just need a little bit more variety in the size classes. I miss Cybertron in that regard; there were seven size classes (eight if you count the legends).

No, I don't expect them to either. Unless he changes his design in the show, they're new enemy money-maker for Beast Hunters is Predaking.

No, Leaders are larger than both. Take a look at the DOTM Ironhides, Leader on the left and Voyager on the right:

I still think voyager is a bit to large to fit into delux. Not nby alot but still to large.
Bumble bee is perfectly suited in size to voyager prime though. So having said that perhaps it isnt voyager prime that is too large but the delux figs that are a bit too small.
All well. Theres not enough difference to really gripe. Especially since voyager classic prime is soo neat.

I guess I would have ate that up as a child but now...not so much. He sure does have potential for a custom though.

Voyagers already fill that slot. Also, the leaders of factions are usually the tallest guys, if not existing a bulkier dude or combiner.

Not quite. The size difference is so great that Optimus has to bend down far to reach Bumblebee's height. Voyager Optimus is only two heads taller than Deluxe Bumblebee.

Boy that megs looks awful now that I see it outta the box lol. Bumble bee isnt always that small though is he? I thought that more often than not his head top was around primes waist.

Yes, he was smallest Autobot in G1, and as such significantly smaller than the giant Optimus Prime. Seriously, he wasn't much taller than a human teenager.



The only time he was around Prime's waist was in the live-action movies and Prime.

I guess bee was pretty small. I had forgotten that he wasnt much taller than spike.
