Primeultimus wrote:This should be taken as a RUMOR until we get official confirmation from Hasbro.
We now know it's not legit, so why did you even post it to begin with? Don't bother answering, it just needed to be asked. This post just rubs me the wrong way.
xMXUx wrote:These are only canceled for the US market. The Generations Legends should still be available in Europe. Cosmos and Swerve were/are available at EU online retailers, and Tailgate and Shrapnel should be available soon.
As of right now, not even Beast Hunters is canceled for the US market. Please don't spread false information, thank you.
Sodan-1 wrote:Got to be bullshit. Haven't some of these figures already been released, if only at a minor level?
Fortunately, it is. They're still going to see a release.

What is this on the front page for? Seibertron.com team, I expect so much more from you. You have trusted sources for rumors. Please use them.
I'll take the heat for this one. Leave the rest of the news crew out of it. I made a judgment call and it blew up in my face. I can admit when I'm wrong and I was wrong to give this a second thought.
Rated X wrote:If the rumor is true, all of you can blame hasbro. Blame hasbro when your local walmart is flooded with AOE constrctobots and fast action battlers. Maybe someone in china will do the right thing and KO the crap out of cosmos and swerve. Would you guys buy it to protest hasbros poor marketing decisions ?
Honestly, you should blame the retailers. They have more pull with Hasbro than the people do. The parents complain about complexities and whatnot and Hasbro tries to listen. Wal*Mart pushes and pulls them in every direction, they HAVE to listen. In the middle, we end up with crap like Construct Bots. Do I think it's a good move? No. Do I think it's a reasonable move? I guess so. They have to do what they think is right, no matter how much we might disagree with it.
Primeultimus wrote:Got word that the Transformers Legends line is on Hiatus currently and will return later this year after the movies. Legends Cosmos , Swerve and others will be released then. They were pushed back from release of October 2013. My apologies but the news was half true as they have only been pushed back now. Legends Gears will be unveiled today!
Please... Just stop. There is no hiatus, there is no cancellation. Even after proof has been given, you just continue. Look, whatever your deal is, I don't care. Don't bring stuff like this to us again.
Primeultimus wrote:Were they able to confirm the fate of the Beast Hunters line is what I would like to know. Would be dope to get the Upscaled Abominus It could of been epic!
There was never any confirmation that we'd see all of the Terrorcons in Deluxe Class size. Even if we did, all of their combiner connectors had been stripped and their transformations changed slightly. While it would be nice, we're not going to see Abominus at this time. Probably never.
Blurrz wrote:Since when did one news story make a difference in how Seibertron.com fairs against TFW2005.com. You beat them with quality and a good community, not a happy trigger finger on stories with shoddy sources.
I don't know why they wasn't more caution put into this. Just because a toy isn't coming out yet, does not induce the fact that it has been cancelled! That correlation is few and far between. Did you even look at PU's sources? Some toy store from Tampa? Joel from BBTS and Curt from TFsource said so? You guys can get Joel and Curt on the line faster than Obama can call Air Force One.
I'm not trying to antagonize the staff, but c'mon, this is a bit silly. It wasn't your actions that caused a boatload of people to feed ebay scalpers, but Seibertron.com's reputation for rumors is pretty good. To throw fuel on the fire like that. Not cool.
Again, it was my call. Leave the others out of it. I'm not going to fight with you, mainly because I just don't owe it to you. You were on the staff once, I'm a little surprised by this post and a bit disappointed.
Primeultimus wrote:Some sites are saying my info posted yesterday is debunked. That is not True. The TF Legends line is still on hiatus and more importantly the Beast Hunters line is cancelled so I was more then right about everything I posted! So people need to still realize that BH is no more! Please contact Hasbro to confirm if possible.
I am sure they are no longer producing any figures from the Beast Hunters line.
You aren't sure of anything and your info WAS debunked. Please don't do this again in the future. I mean it.
Primeultimus wrote:Also I am not a toy store. That is my facebook name. I am a collector. And one with reliable sources. When Hasbro opens orders for the Legends stuff I will breathe a sign of relief.
Currently however the Beast Hunters line being cancelled has not been debunked with no further announcements of the continuation of the line.
Just because a current product isn't on display, doesn't mean the line has been canceled. In all fairness, Hasbro had a lot of product to show off today and it was quite overwhelming. In no way does that validate anything you shared with us. In fact, you were absolutely proven wrong. Just stop.
Primeultimus wrote:Original post updated to reflect the actual cancelled lines for the USA retail.
There are no canceled lines for the US.
And with that, this thread is over and done with. I will reiterate one more (and final) time as to why this was put up:
I made a judgment call. While it didn't work out in my favor, it was MY judgment call and no one else's. Do not blame the news staff or the other people operating the site because of this. One person's ill informed decision should not be held against the rest of the people involved with the site.
In the past, figures and entire lines have been canceled/ended early to make way for new items. There was no reason to believe that this was absolutely impossible in this instance. Considering that a lot of the new product hasn't seen retail release yet, that also gave it a bit more weight.
I thought it was necessary to address it, and I clearly stated it was a rumor and that we'd update with confirmation one way or the other and we did just that. In no way did we break that promise.
Again, the egg is on my face and no one else's. I listened to what happened to be a lie and it blew up in my face and I accept that all on my own. Do not hold this against Seibertron.com or the message board. If you have any comments, address them to me directly. You know where my PM button is.
There will be no further comments in this thread, it is being locked before it gets out of hand and turns into a disaster. I know someone will say "This is a news thread, you don't lock those." It's no longer a news thread. The article has been removed and this thread is no longer part of the news system. Therefore it has become just a discussion thread and as such can and will be locked.
Thank you for reading, thank you for keeping Seibertron.com as your news source.
