Should be September. October at the latest. Season 2 boxset gets released on September 11th to help garner interest again.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
skywarp-2 wrote:I for one hope they release a box set complete of Beast Wars, like the whole set being released for G-01 from Madman. that would be cool, in one big box.. excluding Beast Machines!!! I did not like the weird surreal story line about organics versus machine technology, ect.. but your right about one thing, those shows had great CGI and better situations then most shows of transformers have had to date.

i_amtrunks wrote:It is far and away the best written Transformers (if not childrens) show that I have ever seen. The quality in animation is consistent, there is not a single episode that drops the bar. The Writers made the correct choice in keeping the crews to half a dozen or so a side, allows much more character development, and character driven stories.
A whole series boxset isnt really needed, the Madman editions with all their extras are perfect enough.

That's really cool. I wish I could have went to that. Speaking of which, were you able to get the Golden discs? Some site had them for sale the day after for con price, meanwhile prices on ebay were insane. I was afraid the store wasn't going to honor the sale and say they were sold out. Sure enough I got them a few days later..ANYWAY, no one ever talks about them. They have to be the best con exclusive idea to date. I love 'em.
TheMuffin: Cool, thanks. I had kinda given up hope for it.
Ramrider: I love BM as well. Very dark. Even more adult than BW.

Well, the reasons go a little deeper than that. Originally, Primal was suppose to be Prime but with a new Gorilla body, which offset a great number of TF fans (hence the "Truck not Monkey" stuff). When they were putting the show together, they didn't want to be tied down to what had gone on before so they set up the show to be pretty ambiguous. Clearly making Primal and Megatron seperate from their original counterparts. It wasn't until the fan community started to rally around the show, thanks in large part due to the internet, that the producers decided to go ahead and tie it in to the original show.
My all time favorite episodes include: Other Voices: Parts 1 and 2, Code of Hero, The Agenda: Part 1-3, Nemesis: Parts 1 and 2.

In the Japanese show, weren't Prime and Megatron supposed to be the g1 characters? I get confused with it comes to the Japanese stuff.

I don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure about that since I've never seen the Japanese dubs. I know that they gave most of the characters individual quarks, like Megatron would scream like a little girl whenever a firefight started.
