Yes! Love that figure, it's such a unique stylized mold. Looking back, it's almost an early version of movie Nemesis Prime.

Could be, or I think it could also work as an Optimus that has been revived ala Ghost Rider to send souls to hell. Man, now that sounds cool, he needs a hell hound partner

Stopped by one of the big collector’s stores nearby and they had a lot of awesome stuff!

Here’s my thoughts on everything:

2007 Dropkick: I’ve wanted to get my hands on this mold for a long time, and it does not disappoint! The deco is awesome (I love the giant con badge), and the transformation is fun! Robot mode looks great, mine is missing the truck bed weapon, which I don’t mind. He has some built in weapons anyway!

ROTF Battlefield Bumblebee: I’ve had this mold sealed on card for a while, but this is my first time with an opened one! It’s super interesting, only the legs are carried over from the 07 Bee mold. The backpack folds up in an interesting way, and there’s actually a molded interior for alt mode! The chest unfortunately doesn’t break up (which is why I skipped on it back in the day), but it’s still a very neat figure.

DOTM Cyberverse scanning Bumblebee: Man, what a cool deco! There’s so many paint apps on this figure, the grid lines go over the whole back half of the vehicle! Paint is a little chipped but nothing I can’t fix. Also nice that they retooled the arm to hold a weapon!

DOTM Cyberverse Ratchet’s lunar crawler: This may be the most obscure deco Ratchet has had, but it looks good! The crawler is neat, I think it’ll look really cool with the Roller who came with the Ark. I love that the mini rover that turns into a blaster was actually in the movie!

Nice haul!

I just got that Ratchet last year, fun little set.

I also just got a cannon bee mold last year for the first time, I enjoy it, and wish more toys acknowledged his shoulder cannons.

Dropkick is excellent, love him!

D-Max, I'm astounded by the volume of your collection. It was something I strove for years ago, before Combiner Wars made me realize I would have neither the space or financial means to achieve it.

The only drawback to this manner of display that I can think of is that since they're jammed together so much maybe the details of the individual bots get lost in the crowd. Perhaps they look different in person.

Regardless, congrats on the collection, I'm sure it will just keep growing, and I'm glad I was able to contribute to it.

Thank you, and thank you for your contributions as well.

I think it looks better in person, photos are hard to capture the scale. Plus, i use spice rack risers, so it helps create a little more separation too

Awesome stuff D-Max! Looking forwards to setting all my stuff up one day.

There was a big toy show nearby that I stopped by and found some cool stuff!

IMG_1796.jpeg

IMG_1798.jpeg

The legends class 2-pack was a cool find, and my first time owning the 07 legends Prime mold! The decos are really neat on these.

While it’s just one component, it’s neat to have part of legends Devastator! Pretty cool that they were able to get a robot, alt, and combined mode at this scale. He also seems to have the concept art head that was used on the G1 repaint of voyager Mixmaster that was packed with a Hoist redeco of Longarm!

Wasn’t planning on picking up the big AOE flip and change Bee, but for $5 I figured I’d give it a try. It uses the same butterfly knife transformation as several one steps (High Octane Bee, Drift), but the torso piece doesn’t really sit flush against the rest of the body.

The smaller Bumblebee is from the DOTM rock-em sock-em like line, as I recall they did 2 2-packs. Interesting that it’s tooled from the DOTM Camaro but uses the 07/ROTF stripes!

Now that I have Armorhide, the Landmine trilogy is complete! It’s such a good mold, and they’re a pretty great looking group!

Just picked up another legends class figure, this time it’s Jetfire!

It’s a really neat little figure! Robot mode proportions are a bit off but it captures the essence of the design really well. The legs in particular are great, and I like that he has his cane. Alt mode is a reasonably accurate recreation given the scale, and of course he can combine with Optimus. It is pretty much just Prime wearing an SR-71 as a backpack, but it’s very fun!

After finding 2007 Classic Camaro Bumblebee and ROTF Battlefield Bumblebee earlier this year, I now have all the pre-Studio Series deluxe class Bayverse Bumblebee molds! Had to get a group picture of the bunch, hopefully Studio Series updates to the AOE and TLK Bees aren't too far away!

I picked up some new old figures recently that I'm very happy about. I'd been looking to get an ROTF Thrust to pair with my Dirge, who I got in 2010. I finally found one for an acceptable price. They make nice pair! I will get a ROTF Ramjet to complete the sort-of trio.

Resized_20240617_141016.JPG

Resized_20240617_140358.JPG

While looking for said Thrust, I was very surprised to find a very rare sight: an original Dark of the Moon Mechtech Deluxe Soundwave!

Resized_20240617_140008.JPG

Resized_20240617_143007.JPEG

I had written this figure off years ago due to its infamous status as a Takara exclusive after the last wave of the DOTM toyline was cancelled, which made it a very rare and coveted figure that commanded a lofty price (anywhere from $100 to nearly a thousand dollars as I recall). My Brother got the Studio Series version, so that basically filled the hole for Soundwave representation for a while. But a part of me still wanted the original for the sake of difference and fulfilment. So finding one for about $75 was like being given the greenlight to make my move.

He fits in very neatly with the rest of the DOTM 'Cons, and the Movie Decepticon shelf as a whole. He isn't much bigger than the SS one in robot mode, and in vehicle mode they're nearly the exact same scale. He looks great next to the ROTF deluxe, of which he is a clear evolution. There are some obvious screen inaccuracies as a result, like the abundance of blue and the visored headsculpt, but that doesn't bother me. He has one thing the SS toy doesn't - a killer Mechtech weapon!

Resized_20240617_141958.JPG

Resized_20240617_142633.JPG

This was also a minor reason why I wanted this one. It's one of the best and most creative ones. I love the way the panels shift around to completely reshape the gun into a satellite dish! It really resembles the way the movieverse bots transformed on the screen. It's such a shame it was never made it to mass retail. I wonder if HasTak would ever do a retro movie line of reissues in the same way as G1 and Beast Wars just for the opportunity to finally release figures like this. One can dream! At least for now I can finally experience this one. DOTM Soundwave is a great villain who really embodies both the "Robot in Disguise" aspect and the deception tactic that his faction are known for. So great to have a distinct representation of him in my own collection.

Thanks! I always found it funny how they clearly tried to homage G1 Dirge with the cockpit chest and conehead, and then put the actual cockpit and nosecone on the arm. But he's a great example of an asymmetrical transformation, something we don't really see anymore.

That Soundwave is still a figure I'd like to get at some point, nice grab!

On the subject of movie guys, specifically MPMs, I got the Unique Toys Mirage, and he is still a joy to behold. So nice. And I also got the Dr Wu. Wheelie and Brains, which has really added to that shelf.

Also, Blokees Mirage is great, finally a mirage that is somewhat accurate!

I dont recall posting anything on here but what the heck, let’s do it. So first up is a couple of items i have bought when i was stationed in Germany. I was wanting to know if anyone else has this Allspark Cube? It is cool looking with a little bit of weight. I bought this off eBay, it didnt have a box only a tiny stand. i have tried to look it up and have seen pictures of ones in the box. Apparently they are going for a decent amount of money, still sealed. Anyways, just wanted to know if anyone else may have this.

Next up is two Transformers i purchased from a seller in China i think before ROTF hit the theaters. That was something with this line i was doing, again in Germany and buying up movie toys that were not released yet in the stores per se nor did they come with instructions. I think a good portion of my ROTF line was bought that way. So with Long Haul and Optimus Prime, as you can see they have “NOT FOR SALE” on them. To me that is pretty cool to have.

Enjoy

Probably should have posted these photos first but wanted to share my movie collection on here. The display case you se was specifically for all movie stuff. However, i have decided to part ways with my AOE and TLK lines. I am working on selling those now. So now i only have the first three shelves and the very top. As some might see, my Titans Return line is below DOTM.
I was planning on putting my ROTB diorama below the DOTM shelf but i have move all my scenes to one case.
Back to the top area, you can see on the shelf is random movie releases, then the trio pack Bumblebees.
Then a couple of back story’s, that Devastator, again while in Germany my wife had to go back to the states and when she came back she surprised me with this. Amazing that she actually bought this and brought it back. As i did with some others, i was able to buy select Transformers from two German toy stores near the base. One of those was the big Bumblebee, again another cool purchase.
I was able to even purchase a few things on our PX (exchange store), which included that Bumblebee mask and the Ultimate Optimus Prime. It might be hard to see him.. I need to come up with a stand for him, so that he is more visible.

So this is what i have.
