Yeah, I don't know if it was the board not sending them out, or my email, or what, but at the beginning of the month (and end of last month) I had a huge problem with not getting an email notification until several posts had passed... then boom! Email. Like this thread... I missed all those posts from Psych at the beginning of the month, then suddenly got an email about a post.

Then again, I've gotten them on threads that hadn't been active in a year and someone suddenly posted... so, no rhyme or reason. But considering the majority of the posts I missed in Convergence happened right at the beginning of the month, I just never got caught up.

I do have a question.....

How strong is Jhaxus' emp blast? Theoretically, an emp should shut down the TFs, like offline them temporarily. But everyone is still online and some even making noise. So I'm guessing... strong enough to immobilize but not strong enough to completely shut them off? I want to make sure I react correctly. :-)

Yep. Also forcing partial transformations.

I am thinking about writing some profiles for some of the Rust Renegades/Victorion/all female combiner team (obviously they wouldn't be a combiner right away). Is this something I should do? I would probably need help from some other players to write some of the profiles so I don't have six to write, but it would be nice to add that wannabe gestalt team since Windblade is in this now.

Any volunteers?

Update:

From what I have heard from a couple players, the Rust Renegades already have some team-members in reserve for certain players. However, the helicopter twins are available for someone to have reserved. I would love to write profiles for and play the two of them whenever the Rust Renegades are going to have profiles made. Since they're twins, I'd imagine they would be around each-other and will have to be working together a whole lot, and having the same player write both profiles for them also seems like a good idea. If anyone has any ideas or info, just PM me. ;)^

How long will the EMP last in the amphitheater? I understand if it lasts long enough for the scientist and his two creations to "escape". Will the ones affected need to reboot their systems or would some of the others in the base have to fix or reset them?

I know this is an odd request, but is it alright if one of the people controlling one of the gestalts in the Convergence Garrus-9 Ampitheater somehow destroy Gadget? Sounds brutal I know, but I really want that character put to an end somehow. He's a custom character I used to own, but no longer am controlling. Just have Monstructor step on him or something.

Hmm, I'm considering making some profiles for Glyph and Tap-Out. Could be interesting to have more Minibots. Any story integration ideas?

Edit: I am not sure if I want to play them or not though. I mostly want to write them to add them to the game.

I'll just wait for some others in Flamewar's team to respond at the Sea of Change Undersea Base before I'll write a post for Misfire. I'd rather have more to work with for him, and he isn't necessarily the type to take the lead in a situation like this.

Ok, so I got a character concept in mind, but before I start going much further with it I want to know if the community would embrace the concept or not.

Gorger is a Bonvivant, a social peacock that thinks life is a show, he likes playing the role of the extravagant host, the high-class critic, and being the pulse of the social class. High attention to detail and the social graces to fit in with cybertrons social elite, he has a want to express himself in overtly flamboyant ways, grand gestures, and a silver tongue.

Unfortunately, what he LOVES is the shock and horror when his guests find out they were on the menu for his dinner parties, transforming into a horrific creature that is mostly mandibles, teeth and legs. Where he may appear to be harmless from the outset, Gorger earns his name from his need to consume his victims, sometimes with minimal restraint, only stopping long enough to savour the moment and express his gratitude to his victims before continuing with the consumption of the entree.

I would consider him a social-styled Terrorcon, probably not making him popular among the number, but there is no denying the MO is very similar to some of the more prominent members of the group. It's the hunting grounds that changed.

Sounds like a cool idea, but seems more like a character that would be in a haunted mansion. :lol:

Hannibal Lecter comes to mind.

This social peacock part sounds interesting given there really isn't a character like that around. However, I find the flip side of his personality more difficult aspect. How could he possibly entertain his habit? 4 million years of war and diminishing numbers of Cybertronians would have revealed long ago what he has been up to both Decepticons and Autobots.

While his superiors in Decepticon ranks would tolerate such behavior against Autobots, he'd be long gone if he acted such way towards other Decepticons. Unless of course he'd arrange his parties to alien species or neutral Cybertronians cut off the warring factions. :-?
