It's FunPub. It's their specialty.
Shadowstream wrote:Ugh, thanks for pointing this out man. I had mine combined for the last week or so since I reviewed it and just noticed the fracture right after seeing this post. Though I've had it combined back and forth for longer periods of time before, I can't say I've ever noticed it until now. While that kinda thing is sad, especially on a Fansproject release, I can't say I'm too dissapointed since I've had crap worse than this happen to a lot of my official figures.
Still, perhaps an appeal should be made to FP asking if they can find a way to address this problem if this does turn out to be a more common problem.
Autobot032 wrote:Sorry to hear you got hit with it too. But, now you can attest that the fracture doesn't prevent combination, just that extra care is required.
If anything, I think it's more or less just letting off the pressure that built up from all of that stress. It has to go somewhere. Fortunately, it doesn't break all the way.
And I agree, FP should address this situation. I'm wondering if this is the piece they had a fitting problem with when they had delays back in July/August,
BTW. Which version of Vortex/Blackout are you using?

You are not wrong. There is a slight difference between the Energon connector ports and they wanted it to combine with all versions of the molds.

I have the ROTF version of Vortex, so I'm not sure if that's what makes the difference or not. To be perfectly honest (and I'm not trying to come off as a douche), but I'm really confused about what you're talking about. Are you saying that the Crossfire02 connector piece has stressed, or the Vortex mold connection piece. The picture you provided doesn't really help.
