[Fort Remembrance: Med Ward]

First Aid begins to tinker with Blades' badly beatup helicopter rotors from the debris that fell due to the terrorist decepticons running rampant among the city-state. Especially coming here to harm the Autobots by demoralizing them... and a demoralizing dilemma for the doctor, as well... since he remembers trying to get that amped decepticon to stop harrassing the Throttlebots inside the damaged shuttle containing vital supplies and equipment needed to maintain the Autobots here-- by shooting at him.. or, rather... missing him on purpose, but still.. it troubled the doctor to know he tried to hurt someone. his pacifistic nature normally never allowed him to fight, but... what could he have done? Let that Decepticon hit the ammunition and blow the Throttlebots sky-high? He finds himself unable to answer the question, just as he is finished mending the rotorblades to his fellow protectobot. The outer hull of the helicopter looks good as new, First Aid nodding in response to the checkover.

"Alright, just a jumpstart of energon to get you awake and you're good to go..."

Retrieving a plug from his lower chest cavity, First Aid connects it to the side of the helicopter , and gives a 'jolt' of fresh energon that would awaken his 'brother'. Waiting for a few seconds, the plug is withdrawn, and neatly put away, back underneath the port of the chest. Well, now to see if he was wide awake thanks to that 'charge', and get to work on seeing to throttlebot Chase.

"Blades... how are you feeling?"

Feeling consciousness return back to him from his stasis lock, Blades slowly shifted to his robot form and stared at First-Aid; the Protectobot Medical Officer.

"I feel.........Still a little sore though.. But thanks for bringing me back," said Blades as he grabbed his head and laid back, "Did we win this round?"

"In a sense, yes. The supplies were mostly undamaged and the decepticon terrorists have fled somewhere. Lay there for a while until your systems come back to full restoration, I don't want to see you walking about in pain, now."

If he hadn't had his plate over his face, First Aid would have smiled a little. Instead, the helicopter was met with a dismayed doctor fumbling with something on a nearby table once he approached it. Upon messing around with the equipment, his right hand bumped something off the table. Whatever it was, it was just a small instrument, and it fell to the floor. Looking down at it as he picked it up, he felt he needed to apologize to Blades for his current behavior. He wanted to at least talk to someone about it, but Groove was not around to have a discussion.. something he liked to do with the other Protectobot on occasion when the doctor didn't have anyone to see.

"Ohhh, i'm sorry Blades... I guess i'm just not myself. Not after what I did...," His tone of voice would make it seem like he was bothered, and a little miserable, just as he turns to prepare to see to the next patient in need.. or so he would think, "Do you think... it was right of me to shoot that Decepticon? I mean, if I didn't, then he would have shot the crates which were potentially full of ammo- and you know well how ammo is when under fire."

Blades is more of a belligerent Protectobot than Groove is and asking him would certainly push an honest 'Yes' forward, but that is a terrible way of saying something about a friend of mine, like 'destructive'-- even if it is a bit true.

"You know doc, It was the right thing to do in any case, because if you didn't some of us wouldn't be here now. Because of what you did, you saved us from what would of happened. Everyone here knows your nature; Us Protectobots especially, I can see it's hard on you, but don't sweat; you acted in the way you saw fit. No one is gonna hold it to you. Now get back to fixing the wounded, I need the rest of my systems back to full functionality so I can get back to slaying some decepticon Exhaust sniffers," replied Blades, with a smile planted onto his face.

He's no Groove, but Blades is indeed right. I don't try to hide my pacifism- i'm too easy to read. I can't help but feel like i've done wrong, even though I did the right thing by throwing that terroist off the attack. *Sigh..* It's true, no one would would nag me for going against my beliefs. ...That is, except me. I'm just berating myself for it.. I need to believe in my actions and judgement better than what i'm doing now, otherwise I don't think I can maintain proper medic composure for this long. Haha..

Holding the small instrument in hand, First Aid look on at Blades, feeling much better now that he had it off of his shoulders. It always helped to talk about his decisions during a battle in the aftermath... whether it be self-defense, or just using a weapon. To him, it was a contradiction to his pacifistic ideals. An insecurity formed by his constant worrying. Even beneath the plate, the doctor could only smile, and as a sign the edges hid more of his low end of the blue visor than ever.

And a typical response of his need for fighting never ceased to secretly worry the doctor.

"...Thanks Blades.. I don't think I should question my judgement in the heat of battle, but it's something I can never help but do it. Times like this, I need to get it off of my shoulder joints, otherwise I can't worry for my patients so much."

After he was done contacting Prowl, Scoop was heading towards the landing bay. He was curious on how things were since the attack. He remembered all of the vivid details of that attack. The charges being planted on the shuttle and Scoop rushing to get them off. Scoop also remembers confronting the insurgent commander and getting a bomb strapped to him, and his action to take care of the insurgent. He wondered if was able to destroy the decepticon coward.

"Doc?" Chase asked Firstaid, "Are you seeing petro-rabbit bouncing around here?" said Chase trying to shoo away the imaginary creatures brough on by the loss of fuel and lack of medical care, "I think they're beginning to turn nasty...that has sharp teeth..."

Searchlight, Freeway and Rollbar steadily worked their way up to the border land to begin their sweep of the area looking for any sign of Decepticon interlopers and smugglers. If they could cut smuggling down it would help the local economy and help the population become more lawful at least that was the theory, "I'll let you guys know if I smell anything like a Con," Rollbar said to his two compatriots.
"And if I spot anything I'll tell you guys," said Searchlight.
"And if either of you run into a booby trap...well, I won't need to tell you about it...BOOOOM!" said Freeway.

Fort Rememberence, Landing Bay

Wideload had been busy in the landing area trying to patch things up since the bomb. He was no technician but he had helped clear away the debris and bring in the equipment to fix up the place as well as the new metal sheet panelling for the floor and walls. The place was looking better and should be serviceable soon as the tech boys finished up their work.

Cotnrail allowed himself a small chuckle as he emerged from the tunnels that led to below Antihex. The map he'd found proved to be accurate, and perfect for his plans. All he needed was to make final adjustments, and the Autobots would be in for a very unpleasant surprise.

The Seeker stepped back into the light of day and hovered into the air. With a final glance at the tunnel entrance, he prepared to leave.

"...and I said that isn't my driveshaft! Hehehehe!" Freeway said finishing one of his jokes. Rollbar and Searchlight did not join in the laughter, "Not my driveshaft...come on guys...it means--"
"We know what it means, it isn't funny," said Rollbar.
"Just exceedingly crude. Without any cutting wit," said Searchlight.
"What would you two know about jokes anyway?" asked Freeway, he always responded badly to criticism, "Pair of humourless dorks,"
"Quiet. I sense something," the tracker said.
"Your psychic senses kicking and alerting you to approaching danger?" Freeway said sarcastically.
"Chemical traces on the wind, consistent with exhaust from a Transformer...very recent," said Rollbar.
"Can you tell if it is a Bot or Con or Empty?" asked Searchlight knowing all too well how keen Rollbar's sensors were.
"No it's too faint. Lets follow the trail and see who it leads to," said Rollbar as he leading the way, "The hunt is on,"

Having completed a sweep of the area, Contrail now returned to the original tunnel he'd picked out. "Just as I thought," he mused to himself. "This is the perfect spot." He remained in position, deep in thought.

Prowl had disappeared to do some sort of administration, and whilst he had left adequete staff in the center to fulfill any required duties, Skyhammer still liked being up here. In particular, he was organising the requisition of supplies and personel to repair the damage wrought by the recent Decepticn assault.

Having made a preliminary assessment, something he was expert at as former owner of Skyhammer Enterprises, what had been his personal freight company, he then opened a communication directly to scoop, plugging his communication array directly into the systems to save time, energy as well as to ensure maximum security.

Listen, i'm just making a requisition assessment on the damage done in the hanger, and, since you're our resident construction expert i was wondering if you could give me a hand? I mean, you any good at assessing damage and what materials we're gonna be needing?<<<

Scoop heard is communicater go off and it was Skyhammer asking for his assistance. "I will be honored to help out in anyway possible Skyhammer. I think I will be able to help you out with everything you need." He said with a smile on his face. "You want me to meet you in the Hanger??"

Not expected such an imediate response, Skyhammer jumped slightly when Scoop replied almost as fast as he had made his request. The formal language kinda didn't help either.

Turning down his system, he picked up a vacant data pad and rose from his seat, walking down towards the main doors of the center, and from there, to the hanger bay.

"Okay I got something," Rollbar said, "It appears to be leading me towards a tunnel system,"
"Tunnels are great places to hide," said Searchlight.
"They're also great places to ambush," said a more cautious Freeway.
The team moved up towards a tunnel entrance, "I reckon we're definitely tracking a Transformer," said Rollbar.

Borders

His sensors picking up approaching Transformers snapped Contrail out of his reviere. With a kick of his feet, he took to the air and took a look around. A dust cloud warned him of the Throttlebots' approach. Behind his visor, his optics narrowed. He didn't need any company right now.

Transforming, he dived at the trio and began a strafing run.

Scoop replied to Skyhammer "I will see you in a few klicks." Scoop then headed towards the hanger bay. At the entrance he just paused and just looked at the door. Memories of the battle were rushing through his head, and anger was building. They needed to find these Decepticons for the sake of Altihex.

"Decepticon jet incoming! Incoming!" said Rollbar being the first to notice Contrail bearing down upon the small trio.
"Get off the road into cover!" shouted Freeway. He and Searchlight transformed and went left into a craggy outcrop and Rollbar was forced to dive down into a gully by the shots from the Decepticon, the strafing just missed him.
"Get moving before he comes again!" said Searchlight.
"Head to that tunnel entrance!" shouted Rollbar, "He won't be able to strafe us inside there!" the three Throttlebots started running towards the tunnel entrance as fast as their little legs could carry them.

Wideload saw Scoop enter the large hanger, "Hey there!" he said cheerfully, "The place is almost as good as new!" he greeted Scoop, "Wish we could have had a little more help,"

As the doors opened up, and Scoop was about to enter, he heard someone step up behind him.

"Hey, guess we're both well timed then?" Skyhammer nervously peeped, smiling slightly.

Scoop looked at Skyhammer with a smile and said "Yeah I guess we both are. So what needs to be done?"

Scoop then heard Wideloads greeting to him and simply stared at the bot. He just said "If I wasn't in stasis lock after the battle then I would of been glad to help you." He then added. "You guys did a great job however on your own." More memories of the battle played out after the comment.

"Stasis lock is a rather poor excuse for missing all this hard work," Wideload complained to Scoop, "I scraped my paint job doing this work. Do you how much time and effort it take to get the correct amount of shine on this body? Removing the grease, rubbing on polish, buffing out small dents. Hard work like this only adds to all this. You should really think of others before you get yourself shot," Wideload said, it wasn't at all clear whether he was joking or was entirely serious about what he had said.

Scoop couldn't tell if the throttlebot was joking or not. He did however decide to respond sharply to him. "Alright Wideload next time decepticon terrorists come into the base then I will let you difuse the bombs and get one planted onto your chest cavity" He pointed to it and then said "and almost get blown into a million peices and I will unload the cargo on the ship." Scoop was not going to hide anymore that he was annoyed. Scoop then walked away to start whatever work he had to do with Skyhammer.

"No you don't have to do that. You can still fight Decepticons but don't get yourself hurt, that way I won't have to do as much work," Wideload explained to Scoop. The Throttlebot thought Scoop clearly hadn't quite grasped the concept of lightening his own workload, "It makes sense and everyone is happy,"

Skyhammer was about to begin explaining to Scoop what it was required of them to do when Wideload began complaining. He didn't know whether or not to be stunned, laughing, or both, but instead understanding the need to be diplomatic, allowed the pair to continue their conversation. All too soon however it came to an end, and as Scoop stormed off, Fort Rememberence's logistics officer leaned into Wideload with a slight smile.

"I think what he's trying to say is, you should be grateful it wasn't you who almost died.. Do me a favour will you and go into the supply bays. I need a complete manifest of all construction equipment, raw materials and isomer-crete we have. Make it snappy.. I expect a complete loadout on my screen in the command center within twelve breems"

He didn't have much time for fools, however green he himself was to the war effort. It was the old foreman and businessman within himself: he had run a tight ship and whilst he didn't mind his workers goofing off and having fun on the job, it was on the expectation that they would DO the job without any complaint and certainly no backtalk to either himself or any of the other workers.

He'd already checked the stores himself, and knew exactly how much they had of everything. However, it always paid to make absolutely certain the manifest matched the actual shelves, and what better way to do it than send a mouthy proto-mech to do it.

Sometimes, he loved being a bastard, especially when it was justified

Turning and walking away, he broke into a slight run towards Scoop to catch up with him, matching him stride for stride. "So.. what's your assessment of the damage? I mean, i'm no expert on construction, but from the number they did on the roof alone, i reckon we're needin' at least ten thousand credits worth of materials..."

Starwind had finally been given a clean bill of full function and turfed out of the Medi-center. He was new to Altihex and found himself easily lost and confused amongst the labyrithine Fortress. He soon found himself in the hanger bay.

A pain flashed through him, he was grounded. His shuttle was destroyed by the 'con attack and if it hadn't been for many of the Autobots, his cargo would've been destroyed. Even worse was that he had to notify Iacon of the shuttle's destruction.

"Skyhammer, you got any jobs you need doing around here? Until I finally report back to Iacon... I'm pretty much grounded."
