Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy 012. (yes Nomura needs to stop smoking whatever he is on.)

nothing yet on new gameplay features, however Kain and Lightning(like we didn't know she was coming) are confirmed as new chars. Cecil is also confirmed to return. We can pretty much bet all previous fighters will be returning, especially the poster boys: Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall, and Kefka. It would be nice, though, if data form the original game could be transferred over to adjust the difficulty of any new story mode battles.

Some translations from a ecent articale.

* Kouichi Yamadera will reprise his role as Kain

* Maaya Sakamoto will reprise her role as Lightning

* Sugawara Bunta will reprise his role as Cid

* Lightning will be able to use Paradigm Shifts (Optima Changes in the Japanese version), changing between Commando (Attacker), Ravager (Blaster), and Medic (Healer) using L and R.

* The new Assist System allows you to call in an ally, allowing for up to four characters to be on the field at once.

* Pressing L+O when one bar of the Assist Gauge will summon an ally for one Brave Attack. Pressing L+□ when both bars are full to summon them for an HP Attack.

* Assists can break combos.

* (Translator's Note: I'm not entirely sure about the next two items, but it sounds like you can't use the Assist System while in EX-Mode.)

* Pursuit times have been made shorter.

* All the characters from the previous game will return.

* Kain and Lightning are not the only new characters. It will be more than just a few.

* All characters will have three costumes. (1 Normal and 2 Alternates each)

* There will be new summons added.

* All the maps from the first game are back and there will be twice as many music tracks.

* Communications Mode (AKA 2 Player Mode) has been stregthened.

* Save Data from the first game can be transferred over.

* The meaning behind "012" is a spoiler.

* The details about the Story Mode and the system it will use are a secret.

* There will be more retro/original game music tracks.

* Release is not too far off.

* A secret gameplay element will debut in the TGS Demo.

okay, this one has been inactive for awhile, but quite a bit fo details ahve beenr eleased regarding this game.

First off, all character data from the original gametransferrs ove rto the new game, in addition, you get an accessory for doing so.

Addiitonally, the original story will be included, to be unlocked by completing the newer storyline. This will come with some newer cutscenes, quit epossibly to reference those the newer chars that are suppsoed to get taken out in the previous battle, leaving only the ten main chars. I think the fallen may show up in the ending, revived after Chaos' defeat.

New story seems to revovle around memory loss.

Hopefully they make Sephiroth's "suicide" epic

Sanatotto wil be on Cosmos' side. Garbranth on Chaos' side. Most likely how they end up in their rolls in Dissidia will be explained.

Online support is supposed to be improved (I'll believe it when I see it). A tournament style system is ebing put into place so players can play each other and possibly win in-game prizes for winning (msot likely rare items for making equip or even rare equip.)

More summons, so we should probably expect FFXII and XIII summons at least and possibly more variants of oldies.

Characters will no travelalong a world map rather than a grid. The gird will be utilized in Arena mode.

All new characters revealed thusfar are on Cosmos side, thusfar (which say something about how strong those on Chaos' side are. If a third game is made, I think it's highly likely we'll see more villains, possibly the Turks, Seymore, Zeigfried, Barthandelus, Black Waltz, etc.

You'll be able to select other charatcers as supprt to help you out breifly in battle.

A demo was just released in Japan. If you buy it, when the full game comes out, Aerith will be included as a support-only character(and I got a feeling she won't be the only one.) Mos tlikely we'll see the same demo as domestic release nears or just DLC for Aerith.

Heroes for IX and VI have not been announced, most likely given that various VI chars have numrous fans, making the choice ahrder, though I belvie the chandidates will be (Locke, the brothers, Cyan, or Celes)

Cloud: Amano attire and a KH 1 attire for putting ina code from the upcoming KH BBS INt version

Shanatotto: Unknown

Lightning: Recolor and Aya brea's attire if you purchase Parasite Eve 3rd birthday and sue the code included. Nice versa for Aya happens as well
