Your surprised! I'm sure I've mentioned it a couple of times in the Wreckers threadrobotmel wrote:Arctorro wrote:I'm using RtS Fallback my Wreckers Ironfist. I like they way he looks with them
Blimey!
That moulds back kibble is a pain, but can be worked aroundrobotmel wrote:Vega Magnus wrote:I know that RtS Fallback and Mindset are based on movie series molds, but they look to me like they would work okay with Classics. Any opinions on that?
I picked up the RotF Brawn to be my Neo-Classics Brawn but his massive back kibble, chicken legs and clown feet just didnt fit into the Classics look, even 'Neo'!
I like the Mindset/Hailstrom mold, I think he works fine as a Classics stand-in.
I have plans for that mold....

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:Basically the later half, or well "spin-off" movie lines are usually Classics. Hasbro wanted to release a couple of Classics-line figures after the end of the original movie line, but retailers demanded more Movie toys, so the Classics where cancelled and sold under the Movie banner to get stores to buy them.
So Hasbro did the same for ROTF, but not for DOTM since that line was so "popular" that it was cancelled in favor of more Classics.

You mean Breakaway, Crankcase and Fracture? Those were only confirmed Classics that were shuffled into the Movie line. The rest were all for the Movie lines from the very start. Except for Reveal the Shield of course.

Nope, Muvie Mudflap was confirmed to have originally having been Classics Erector. All redecoes of non-movie molds where going to be part of a sort of Classics line.

Even Wingblade and Jetstorm, who have rather realistic paint jobs in vehicle mode?

It's a shame the legs on yours are that loose. My stands really well and has supported others (COUGH Defender Cough) with no problems. He is annoying fun to transform as well, I always have trouble with him, but enjoy it for some reasonnjb902 wrote:Fallback /Brawn is a great mold...... until you get to his legs, to this day I use his back kibble to make him stand against a wall. As for your question though, does he fit in for you? It's your collection, do what's right for you and don't let anyone else tell you it isn't awesome.

That line describes the line incredibly well and makes collecting it more fun because of the re-purposing.Noideaforaname wrote:I think the Classics line is already varied enough you can include other lines into it without really breaking the aesthetic.
