william-james88 wrote:And Cobotron, if you want to get rid of your Leader ROTF Megatron (and if it's complete), just put it up on a sales thread on this site where you name your price or put up a want list of what you'd like it traded against. Believe it or not, it a is a very in demand figure (I dont know why myself, I am not a big fan and I have found it in garage sales too many times to believe it is rare). But in any case, its wanted and I am sure you could score a decent trade for it.

Hi. Some of you may remember me as NOT a movie fan. Some times there is a movie toy I like because it's just a really fun toy. 2007 Leader Prime, Sea Spray, for example.
I pick Galvatron up often when I see him and debate in my mind. That robot mold is just sculpted really well, and the Alt mode is really sleek. Despite the fact that he is just kind of wearing the truck as a "hoodie".
Seeing good feed back on him makes me consider him more.
I know this is a Jetfire thread. Just thought I'd chime in.
Seaspray was just released into the wrong line.
Also- Buy Galvatron.
Yeah, Seaspray is not technically a movie toy. I consider him a similar reimagining of a character just like the Hotspot/Grapnel mold is.
Ya. Most my fav movie era toys are the ones that weren't in the movie. Bludgeon (both classes), Hoist, Gears, Lugnut, Mindwipe, most the scouts.
As I would like to get rid of my ROTF Megatron, maybe this Galvatron can take his place.
'07 Leader Prime is still gonna need someone to wail on.

If you talk about getting rid of your LEADER ROTF Megatron, if he's 100% complete and in great condition, it can fetch a pretty good price on Ebay. I just sold a spare and I got 100$US for it.
However, if it's the VOYAGER ROTF MEGS, keep it. You wont get much and voyager ROTF Megs is a lot of fun and he's scary looking. It will also be a nice evolution partner to AOE voyager Galvatron.
I have Galvatron and he's AMZING! The way the cab "hoodie" fold into a pair of "wings" is pure genius. It's impossible to tell what Galvatron transform into when you look at his bot mode. Worth the full price IMO.
Buy AOE Galvatron. NAO.

Now that oil costs around $80/barrel, maybe we'll see a resurgence of bigger, less hollow and cheaper TFs?
I just wanted to clarify something, the cost of an oil barrel is in no way related to the cost of plastic since the oil used for fuel (which is the number you indicated) is not the oil used to make plastic. Plastic comes from another oil source which has different demand trends. So if ever an executive gives us that reason for the rising costs of plastic, they are fooling us.
transportation costs increased the costs of almost any labored job
You're not just paying for the cost of the plastic used in the toys you buy
All the residual labor must be paid for some how
On topic, after seeing him in the store, I'll just wait for the MP. Current trends tell me there will be one in some way or another. Even if it takes a couple years, whatever.
Yeah but that fan was referrig to the amount of plastic being used, as if the plastic itself cost more.

Beards were hot in the 1970s. Around 40 years later, they make a well deserved comeback. Men are supposed to have some sort of facial hair. Clean faces are for boys who still have a high pitched voice. BE A MAN! BE HAIRY!
YARGH!
This thread is now about the awesomeness of beards and AOE Galvatron.
