DOTM Bumblebee

This was a simple repaint. All I did was paint the metallic robot parts but I then went ahead and gloss clear coated the entire figure. Somehow it blended the parts I painted with the unpainted factory plastic. Kind of neat and simple.

Very inspiring, man. I love this mold. I believe it's the best movie BB, even more than Battle Blades, and your paint job shows why.

Btw, I've never painted a figure before but want to give it a shot. Can you briefly tell me how you achieve your metal effect? Black undercoat and brush silver over that?

Just a black base coat and then dry brush silver paint over it until you get the look you want.
