I will have to agree.....The very idea of allowing human children participate in a millenia-long war between super-huge robotic aliens just smacks of "CRAP"! Among other things in those series'....just basically poop-on-DVD

I also seem to remember a 1980's cartoon where Optimus Primes entire life was stored on a 5" floppy disk by a kid with technology on his desk that aspired to what the Apple 2E would become.

Down_Shift wrote:Armada had strong hints of G1 scattered among the series. At times you see flash backs of war where Jetfire, Strafe, Hound, Prime, Jazz, Hotrod, Magnus, Wheelie, Weirdwold, Misfire and even Rhinox (and a dozen others) make a brief apperence and got the whole fandom really excited to see something crisp, clean and what looked to be very entertaining. What we got was Armada. The first three (maybe) and the last five were the only good episodes, the rest were too poorly dubbed and animated for anyone to really get into it. I do strongly recommend watching the tail end of it. Mortal Combat may be one of my favorite Transformers eps of all the series.
