Just been browsing Chimungmung.com and saw the mark up on this just released figure, Tony wants $120 before shipping costs are added! Jeebus!
Shipped to the U.K. would put him around the £90/£95 mark! For a Deluxe!
Am I right in saying this was at $50 with a $20 donation via the seller plus whatever on to for shipping?
Since Chimungmung wasn't one of the e-tailers teamed up with FP for the holidays (BBTS, TFSource, A3U) for the limited release, I would imagine the mark-up is due to having purchased from one of the others and capitalizing on Code not having a second release yet. Just save your cash for the inevitable larger run for this figure, if Steelcore was any indication it'll be out in under 4 months.
Damn... 4 months...

I got mine yesterday as well. While I'm not keen on some of the thinner plastic used, this is a still a very well-designed figure - so much he's now one of favorite toys. My wife absolutely found the headmaster gimmick adorable.
And while I appreciate the ability to peg the little dude into the car, it reminds me of the phrase "sit on it!"

Thinner plastic? Where?

The hood and it's flip down grill. The plastic is very thin and had me on edge. The panels on the legs where the tabs slide in also worried me.

Are you talking about on the bottom side of the car? I'm worried about that too. Also, the cockpit opening on mine is a bit weird. I think I might have to shave the bottom corners. I'm not sure if the cockpit edges were intended to go inside the leg pieces in car mode, but there is some resistence and scratching on the leg pieces. I think a quick rounding of the corners will help.

I wound up tabbing the legs in last in order to close the cockpit. It looks like pressing down to hard caused some stress marks to show on the cockpit hinge. Just the sides of and not the whole thing, thankfully.

Got him today. I had a slight problem with the right leg during transformation and the bending. Other than that great toy. Doesn't hurt Chromedome was the only Headmaster I owned.

Looks pretty great with all the 3rd Party figures together. I think I want Chromedome but I'll have to wait for a wider release. Unfortunately those pics confirm my suspicion that PE Arcee doesn't quite fit in with the rest.
