Just been browsing Chimungmung.com and saw the mark up on this just released figure, Tony wants $120 before shipping costs are added! Jeebus!![]()
Shipped to the U.K. would put him around the £90/£95 mark! For a Deluxe!
Am I right in saying this was at $50 with a $20 donation via the seller plus whatever on to for shipping?
Since Chimungmung wasn't one of the e-tailers teamed up with FP for the holidays (BBTS, TFSource, A3U) for the limited release, I would imagine the mark-up is due to having purchased from one of the others and capitalizing on Code not having a second release yet. Just save your cash for the inevitable larger run for this figure, if Steelcore was any indication it'll be out in under 4 months.

And while I appreciate the ability to peg the little dude into the car, it reminds me of the phrase "sit on it!"

Are you talking about on the bottom side of the car? I'm worried about that too. Also, the cockpit opening on mine is a bit weird. I think I might have to shave the bottom corners. I'm not sure if the cockpit edges were intended to go inside the leg pieces in car mode, but there is some resistence and scratching on the leg pieces. I think a quick rounding of the corners will help.

I'd not be surprrised at an eventual rerelease having a different coloured head, with luck they'd put one out cheap for us with the first version, but as it is, it's still real nice.
