Well, he broke the fourth wall in the original version, not just Twin Snakes. "Don't even think of using turbo, or I'll know." Hell, the whole game was filled with fourth-wall-breaking.

Ocelot was the one who warned against using Turbo. But yeah, Mantis's whole schtick with breaking down the fourth wall Deadpool style is what makes him probably one of the best bosses ever. Using fairly mundane features in ways no one else really thought of. ("So, I see you like to play Castlevania!" "Who--jeez--wha--I--huh--") He does it once more in MGS4, with a few changes. (He can read a memory card just fine, but not a hard drive. Also, he doesn't like the Sixaxis)

I guess the game takes place before that sort of thing was frowned upon by the Jedi community. Or at least before Kyle Katarn revived that rule.

The Happy Locust wrote:Finished a haunted house quest by delivering a holy man to a demon. Was hoping for a way to deny the request but the mission seemed to be locked in 'evil' mode so I murdered him, gave his soul to the demon, and got a nifty mace.
