Perceptor from PRID Sergeant Kup mold.

Playing around with kup, the idea struck me, then came up with a microscope mode.

modded the canon to attach to his shoulders, and
shaved off some bits of the face to make it look umm...not like a chimp.
other than that just a simple repaint.

Perceptor's color scheme looks far better on that mold than Kup's in my opinion.

Great paint work and this works so well for the character, especially after the Classics Perceptor a few years back. Good job!

I've always loved Perceptor. I loved the way IDW made him a bad @zz. I've also always loved clever misstransformations. And I really love you're mod. A PRIME example of just how transformers help stretch the imagination. A++1 (IMO)

Question: when you paint the joints, do you ever have problems with the paint scraping off after repeated use?
