To be honest all of those games you mentioned, I hate to begin with.

I've never like any of the FF games or the Metal Gear games. Found them complacent and boring.

So the exclusives not being on ps3 doesn't really bother me to be honest.

The games I purchased are well worth it and loads of fun.

Im sure that sony will make a comeback. Ps2 didn't do that well when it first came out either if I remeber. Dreamcast did better, and where is segas systems now?

when the pS2 was released the PS1 was outselling the DC and the N64 with over 40% of the market in 3-9 months the PS2 Took the market percentage and it was GTA III as a exclusive game that move most of those numbers as well as FFX and Gran Turismo 3 where also big seller while FFXIII exclusivity still lacks details as I said earlier MGS 4 has almost been confirmed as Exclusive. while I don't see anyone being the next Sega I think Sony could wind up being the Next NEO GEO because I dont think your average Joe is willing to spend $600 for a video game system. There are rumors already of a christmas price drop and a $100. dollar price drop in the Following year so in my case I think patience will prevail. But I think the PS3;s price tag is its biggest curse.

I agree with you on that Phate....the price is horrible.

I was lucky I had some gift cards and money I saved so it wasn't as a big a deal. But it was still a large chunk of change.

I didnt know ps2 did that well at first, I honestly thought it did poorly to begin with.
