Saber_Wulf wrote:yes i know that you need to re read thing carefully BEFORE you go saying thing that can bite you on the bum. What i said was sixshot wasn't a headmaster yeah he was on the series but he wasn't a head master. I quickly wrote tht so it may of been my fault but i can still interpret it still as six shot wsn't a head master telling some one who hs been collecting for 13 years to learn some more info on transformers before saying that aint a good idea, it's an insult i take deeply. So klingon you need to re think before you sy something, Also i havnt really seen much of the japanese series head master got sick of it when they would link and circle and fire beams down at the enemy found that and swapping heads a bit to corny. Best wars in japan was good armada, energon cybertron good the original movie fantastic same with scrambel city but hed master series a bitto corny. Rodimus, kup and blur leaving arcee behind with the head masters NO matrix of leadership passed on wtf!

Your telling me to read things more carefully BEFORE you go saying thing that can bite you on the bum.......thats funny because you just made two mistakes that are going to bite you in the ass.

First you you make the statement that Sixshot is not a Headmaster. Why did you do that????????/
Nobody made such a claim.....the closet thing to that was written by Insurgent and it looks like you misread the post...here it is
Insurgent wrote:Havent watched enough Armada to vote on Screamer.
BW Dinobot or Headmasters Sixshot get my vote.

He didnt say that Headmaster Sixshot got his vote....he said Headmasters Sixshot got his vote....witch meens the Sixshot from the Headmasters show.

Your second mistake was when you read my reply to you.I put a funny face with a tongue sticking out at the end of my post witch indicates that....................................
I was joking with you!!!!

So who's bum has been bitten now??????????? :-?

And by the way I've been collecting Transformers for 23 years so whats your point????

Here's a clip I found for you.

Indeed I meant Sixshot from the Headmasters show from Japan. The s on the end means it is from the show, instead of being an actual headmaster, when I wouldnt have said anything since the character would have been known to all as a headmaster.

Secondly, small correction there Sto. G1 Soundwave made a cameo in cassette player mode a couple of eps after the one with Prime, Rod, Magnus and Jazz. So there were 2 eps with G1. But you aint a big fan, so I'll let you off. :P

We do seem to have a common theme going here. Sixshot, Dinobot, Black Aracnia, Armada Starscream...

Seems like it's the bad guys that come around that get the lion's share of development time and focused story arcs.

As a matter of fact I do have quite a god number of my Original TF's from the 80's in my current collection. And I'm not sure what the word "progomnal" means.......but As a child [after the age of 6 really] I rarly played with my Transformers at all or any of my other actionfigures ether. And my bed room had a entire wall of book selfs that I would display my TF's and other action figures on along with my comic books.
The doctors thought I had some kind of "Autisim" because I had to have every thing so organised that I wouldnt even play with my toys.I even would display my stuff in battle poses with fishing pole wire holding some of my figures hanging from the walls and celing as well of the top of the shelfs.

Guess I'm a collocter in your eye's then

sorry it was late at night here in oz when i wrote it, it meant to say original. Yeha igot a fare few originals my self from when i was a kid but sadly my oldest brother threw away my sixshot when i was 16 when i had to live with him sad story wont go into why though. Luckily i had friend who KNEW i loved them so much they hid the huge collction at their house until i could get away and move back up here, now i have the new card board cut outs that's about 7 foot tall of prime and m,egs face side on that they put up at the cinemas i bought that for 50 bucks and my mate has got a entire sheet of material from jayjays for free which has the transformers on it with autobot and ecipticon logos on it plus free voltron black lion card board cut out. He loves gijoe more then the transformers and i love transformers more then gijoe but he's a true decipticon to the heart.

getting back on topic i agree dinobot was a fairly cool example of character development.

that said ive a soft spot for beast machines tankor/rhinox. seeing him manipulate megs was very cool and his decent to the dark side and the moral questions in forcibly reprogramming him was a damn good story.

still megs wins it out for me in that series. anyone that can make one of those puny flying drone things actully look like a palpable threat has got to have some good character development going on. particularly when you see what bod he ends up in in the end :)

personally and i stand for a lot of g1 pureists I know that are my friends, We hate beast machines in contradicted a lot of of g1 story lines like mixing orgainc with transformer technology in that way the transorgaincs unstable. I personally believe marv wolfman destroyed g1 with that storyline plus i told him that at supanova sydney, i asked him why did you destroy g1 with beast machines and walked away a lot of g1 fans that were there nodded and some came up and said you had the balls to do what some would not good on ya. Since he was selling scripts for beast machines let's just say NO ONE bought them.

ok waspinator went from bad ss to he clown of the show but he was still cool, and optimus primal well his second form can we say retardo bot. It was monkey butt ugly that thing the face man... didnt he not want to transform into robot mode in one episode when he was flying cause of the ugliness of it and plus all the chrome and blue to hurtful on the eyes.

Why do you blame Marv Wolfman for what happened in Beast Machines????????
He was one of at least a half dozen writters on that show, as far as I can tell he only wrote about 2 or 3 episodes [I could be wrong about that]
He wasnt involved it the shows bible or creation.
He wasnt one of the producers of the show.
He was not in any way involved in the episodes that turned the Transformers and Cybertron into transorganics.

I was as disapointed as you were with that show but blaming Marve Wolfman for it is the eqilevent of blaming a peace of wood for burning when someone trows a match on it.

All Marve did was write a few episodes within a already exsisting storyline.

Its the creaters of that exsisting story line that you should blame.

Marve Wolfman did write the episode "the Return of Optimus Prime".....he created Nightwing [from Batman and Teen titans] and was responceble for the Best Teen Titans comics of the 80's and 90's.

I didn't submit my suggestion so you could comment on how bad you think those characters are.

I don't really care what you think of those characters.

I'm not really sure what you are getting at, unless you are saying monkies/apes/gorillas/whatever are ugly. Ok, that's fine.

or if you are saying his Optimus Prime like head was ugly?

If i was at this convention where you mouthed off to that guy, you would have got a nice facefull of words from me, as Beast Wars/Beast Machines was what brought me back into Transformers after G1 finished, and what kept me going with Transformers when all that Cybertron/RiD/Armada stuff came out since I didn't particularly like that stuff.

ok from what i have been told he is responsable for the bible of most of the transformer series but since this may be fulse any one who writes for the series is still responsable for what happend. Beastmachines was an abomination in my eyes just as the star wars transformers are an abomination to the whole transforemrs name. But thats just my oppion

So you would blame the wood for burnning even if some one trew a lit match on it then????
He wasnt envolved with the Bibles for G1, Beast Wars, or Beast Machines.
Nor was he involved with RID.
I pretty sure he wasnt in volved with Armada,Energon,or Cybertron.

As far as I know all he did was write 2 episodes of G1 and a few between the 2 Beast shows.

And I dont see how you can blame any writter or any one connected in a minor level for the way the show was created.

I dont know what ever gave you the idea that he was in any way connected to the bibles of any TF show.

on anoher forum fan of his said he ws so i was like great he screwed up another good idea cause well watch a show call the condor from marvel its craptacular. But he had a helping hand in destroying the g1 continium so in a way he is still partial responsable for it. I dont know i expected a lot out of beast machines and it so let me down magorly with the transorganic transformer and aswell as screwing up the story line of g1, the first transformers had to learn to transform bull crap they built into their systems disertion of the dinobots told us that part in the viewing room. So much of beast machines contradicted what we learnt over 10 years ago when the abomination was brought out to tv and well personally i fell it should never of gotten of the drawing board. They should of dubbed the japanese series first that would of made more sense cause the ywere out looking for primal and his crew and well yeah it just sucked imo thats all.

Hang on, I'm a G1 pseudo-purist in that it's still the best in my mind but BW/BM were the last shows I really followed. I love BM....

Whatever though, to each their own. I know BM gets no love.

As fer characters, BW Dinobot, Starscream from the beginning of the franchise, (if we're not just limited to the shows) DW WWI Grimlock, BM Tankor, BW Rampage.
