If it's from Hasbro, and it's in the bag along with Transformers, we report it.
TheCyclonus wrote:I gotta say, this is looking pretty sweet! The chrome on it is fantastic (the vehicle mode is just... ), and the new robot mode is looking pretty nice! I do have to agree and say it does look more like a Voyager than a Leader. The back kibble isn't bad, just about as much kibble on this one as the ROTF, just handled differently. Hopefully the rest of the Leaders for this line look as good. Leader Grimlock... dang... the thought of it...
Galvatron... please? I still have hopes that he's gunna be in AOE. XD
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:autobotOG wrote:Has anyone for sure verified that that is a leader class prime yet? I know there was speculation it might be a voyager....if it IS a leader, its definitely a step backwards, with all the kibble and giant rear axle backpack. I've always been optimistic when it comes to the TF movies, but I'm not sure I like this overall design either (just basing on what we can tell from the figure). Where's the chest windows?? Hope the cgi render is better.
Let me answer that with a quote:Hasbro.Inc wrote:TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS OPTIMUS PRIME Leader Scale Figure
(Ages: 4 & up /Approx. Retail Price: $44.99/Available: May 2014)
The Leader Scale OPTIMUS PRIME figure from Hasbro is part of the TRANSFORMERS brand’s popular GENERATIONS action figure line and is inspired by the upcoming TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION movie from Paramount Pictures.
He looks decent enough, if he really is Leader-sized I will admit he looks too simple to transform for his size.
What some people unfortunately seem to forget that Leader Class and up have been overly simple the past few years, I mean look at Prime's Weaponizers which were roughly the same size.

I think "Bayformers" pretty much covers this as well as its predecessors.SW's SilverHammer wrote:Sabrblade wrote:This thread can be summed up in just two words:

we'll add that then

Still waiting for the actual CGI model for comparison, though.
