Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Damolisher wrote:In other words, Spike was 22 when he knocked Carly up. Yeesh. What a meatsack. That kinda has to suck: You're only 22 years into your life when Daniel comes along and ruins the rest of it.

Chris McFeely wrote:'tis not speculation - it's evidenced by the episode title, "The Big Broadcast of 2006."
Season 1 is set in 1984, Season 2 in 1985, the movie and "Five Faces of Darkness" in 2005, and the rest of Season 3 in 2006. Applying this very logical pattern, then, one could state with some degree of certainty that "The Rebirth" took place in 2007.
Spike was 14 in Season 1, 15 in Season 2, 35 in the movie, and so on. Carly, meanwhile, is identified in the series bible as being a year older than spike, making her 16 when she met him 1985 (thereby making her old enough to drive, which she did, with the indirectly-stated point being that she was a prodigy, having already graduated from MIT). Daniel is identified as being 12 in the movie's script, meaning that he would've been born in 1993, and turned 13 in that episode that involved his birthday in Season 3.
