This is where you get into being able to disassemble certain elements of the figure.
Just because they're his feet as Motormaster, doesn't mean they'd be anywhere near his legs as Menasor. Actually, making Menasor would be easier since individual components are more static. Instead of being an entire robot, he's just a torso and at best upper legs.
The other bots making up the arms and legs reduces the amount of Articulation per bot. In truth, the lower legs would just be posts with a joint at the top and bottom, and really the arms would only have to bend at the middle depending on how you designed him. Unless you go the Devastor route and only make them upper arms from the elbow up.
That concept would certainly make the figure more proportionate if you're going to put all five figures in the same scale by means of their alt modes. As I've said before Motormaster would be a brute standing two and half times the size of the other stunticons. Think back to all post Devastor combiners, the leader is massive compared to the others. You start scaling them with other figures of a given line at Motormaster gets outta hand real fast.
Unlike some other gestalt leaders, everyone knows how big a semi truck and trailer are. Same goes for all vehicle types, jets, firetrucks, whatever Computron's middle guy was... At least you can fudge a giant robotic turtle a little.
Superion would be a giant mess to try and tackle. Nothing about that guy makes any sense. Especially when you consider the arm/leg components really didn't "transform" so much as lay down on their stomachs so that the jet strapped to their backs could be seen. Although some guy over at the TFW boards made a great custom Classics Superion outta a Jetfire and a bunch of Starscreams.
