Anyone having issues with their Stacks? People over at TFW are having a lot issues with the hips.

Same way the hip joints on the first runs of Heavylabor went bad. Nuff said.

I took apart the joints on my Stack when I was tightening the hips and they more or less are along the same idea. You have a toothed cog made out of semi-soft plastic forcing itself over a fixed bump made out of the same plastic. There is no spring system in place at all, in other words, its gonna wear out, and wear out quick. Especially since the joints have not been lubed in the slightest.

So yeah its not a problem now, but it will be faster than you think, because either the bump is gonna wear off or the teeth of the cog will, especially in the elbows where the tips of the teeth are much thinner.

This is why they have redesigned the joints to be spring loaded. Because the early ones have started showing symptoms.

KFC should now stand for Keep **** Customers. From their bad plastic to complete disappearance of communication.

Thanks Keith for selling me a product with **** joints - Stack is now having some issues, I have him displayed static, and he is starting to lump over - the Upper torso is starting to weigh down my hips... ****

The hips on my Citizen Stack have turned to mush. The ratchets are almost entirely stripped, and in robot mode, immediately falls backwards or forwards at the hips.

There was a pictoral on the problem earlier in this thread. Anyone else have this happen?

Yep, mine was worn out of the box. I ended up just putting several layers of clear nail polish what little fraction parts are in the hips. It did the job, but thats the price we pay for a unique edition of stacks.

Add me to the list of "floppy hips" V1 Stacks. I have him hunched over on my shelf so that he can fit...which is good I guess because he can't really stand upright very well. The issue was really driven home after seeing the pics of V2s in kicking posses. I like the V1 color scheme much more but unless KFC sends out replacement ratchets then I am never buying from them again. I was very hesitant to give KFC a second chance after buying a Mugen scope so this will be the final nail in their coffin if they don't stand behind their products/customers and fix an issue like this.
cyclonus may be fine, but i can't see why anyone would pre-order with KFC's track record on fixing problems. which is something other companies have done a hell of lot better on.

Also more shady stuff Heard KFC is ignoring people and deleting people's comments on facebook.

In agreeance with everything you just said. At least TFC did redeem themselves by sending out those replacements hips parts for Heavylabor.

Thinking the trick might be to email all the import sites and make them aware of this problem. Perhaps with the Import sites pressure on KFC, They'll be more forced to send out replacements parts with springs to first run buyers.

Is this good news for version 1 buyers? Will retailers start shipping out these replacements parts like they did with the FT Quakewave and FP Menasor parts?

Read a weird story weeks ago, That KFC's initial plan was to force buyers to buy version 2. in order to get the replacemets parts for version 1. Hope this isn't happening anymore.

So do we get these for free with our previous order or is there a charge? If they are complimentary that goes a long way in healing the bad feeling I have due to the earlier behavior...

Heavily speculating the import site you ordered KFC Citzen from, Will ship out these replacements parts free of charge.

When I ordered FT Quakewave & FP Menasor. The imports sites, I ordered from sent me the replacements parts free of charge. With free shipping.

If I don't receive my KFC Citizen replacements parts in Two weeks. I'm going to send them a inquiry email asking for them. Would suggest others do so as well.

Sent a email to the import site that I ordered the KFC first batch Citizen Stacks from. I asked them to send me replacements parts & pressured springs for the arms and legs.

A few days ago, The site shipped out my replacements parts. they should be arriving today or in a few days.

Got the replacement parts in the mail today. But, I had to email the import site with pics of the loose joints and ask them to send me free replacements parts. Was charged a shipping fee of $7.49

Think you need to send out a email asking for the replacemtns parts in order to get them.

Sorry, Don't know how to add a youtube url link where members can see the video and click on it to view it.

Love SXS work they create great replacements heads and weapons. Got their SXS Blitzwing kit, Will be buying their SXS Citizen heads kits.

Like the regular smiley face the best. With the faceplate second. With the angry face last. Don't like how the flip down sun glasses looks, So won't be using this gimmick. It was clever to include the red outer helmet so buyers of the KFC Citizen recolor can use it.

Did you have to send a email asking for the replacements parts? Or did bbts send you a email informing you the replacements parts were on the way without you asking for them?

Did you get charged any shipping fees?

Found it odd, I was charged $7.49 in shipping fees. I minded but needed the replacements parts so didn't complain.

Just put the YouTube tags around the code immediately following v=. I'm going to use parentheses below instead of the brackets so you can see the code. Embedded video will follow.

Thanks for finding this! I did like the comic where UM had to smile to kill some sort of parasite in his mouth. It was great! And I do agree that SXS puts out some great stuff. I'm not using the Blitz shoulder fix, but I am the head and weapon. The nosecone fits much better and the larger weapon is appreciated.

Why is this video here? Because Benscollectables compares MP-22 next to KFC Citizen stacks. Ben says Citizen Stacks has galaxies more articulation than MP-22. Ben also shows a height comparisons between MP-22 and KFC Citizen. MP-22 is barely a inch or Two shorter.

In this video review, Benscollectables, who is a sponsored guy. Says he got this toy from RobotKingdom. It's unclear if he bought it or got it for free.

Benscollectables a sponsored guy, does his best to give a honest review. Even bashing the toy a bit with some negative comments. Like he was disappointed that the toy was MP but had no waist articulation. Ben seems to also be disappointed that the walking hips have limited range of walking movement and the robot can't sit. Ben hates the butt flap on the back of the robot mode. Ben doesn't like daniels big hips and was happy the leg fell apart, so he could show watchers how bad the QC was on daniel. Ben was upset that the white waist belt thing on robot mode appeared to be placed upside down on the robot toy. other complaints was, he wanted the toy to be in 1985 toy colors and not 1986 cartoon colors. Over all ben still liked the toy.

This video is proof that TF fans that are sponsored can give honest and negative bashing video reviews.

Damn it, this is making me want a Magnus. I was gonna go with Citizen Stack, but I use my MPs for display only, so articulation isn't top priority. I have some of the TF:TM Autobot MPs (Hot Rod, Rodimus, Grimlock, Prime, Bee) and I need this one to add to the collection.
