1. 作为KFC的创始人是怎么和TF结缘？并且是什么样的机会或想法让您和您的团队成立了KFC？
As a KFC creator, how did you started with TF(Transformers)? Under what circumstances or ideas that formed the team at KFC?
KFCTOYS:相信每个70末80后小伙伴们，都会有一段变形金刚的深刻记忆和情结。我初中放学后，回家第一件事情，就是拿笔记录每一集变形金刚动画片的片名，期待他们在动画中一次又一次的变换形态。小时候和一个死党要好，家里开杂货店，就用香烟盒，剪刀，胶水，自己设计和制作变形金刚。我做了一个纸糊OP，死党则做了一个声波。踏入社会之后，一直做和TF不相关的行业，一个偶然机会，认识了做模具的一个朋友，从至此入行，一发不可收拾。
I believed that guys growing up at the end of 70s and 80s having a very strong memories and emotions of the Transformers. During my high school days, first thing I would do is to write down the names of each episode, excited by the transformations of the characters. I have a buddy whose family business is Grocery store. We would design and DIY our own Transformers using cigarette boxes, glue and scissor. I did a Optimus Prime using paper mesh and my buddy do Soundwave. I grew up later not doing anything remotely related to Transformers, until I chance apon a friend doing toy mold and it started me into this line beyond my imagination.
2. 说到您的公司就不得不问一下，关于名字，跟某品牌的洋快餐同名，最初设计时有什么故事吗？并且Logo选了一个类高达头像，有什么特殊含义吗？
Since we are at it, why did you name your company as such, with similarities to a fast food chain? What's the initial ideas and story behind it? And why the logo with a Gundam looking head, any special meaning?
KFCTOYS:我们公司的名字全称是Keith’s Fantasy Club Toys,融入创始人的名字Keith,简称KFCTOYS，当时考虑采用KFClub,但玩家索性直呼KFC，这样更简便。高达头像的采用，则是考虑到设计思路，偏向日系的高达风格，细节简练，但不简单。
Our company's full name is Keith's Fantasy Club Toys, incorporating creator's name Keith into initial KFCToys. That time we considered calling ourselves KFClub, however buyers have preferred to calling us KFC straight. Its easy and simpler that way. Gundam alike head for the logo represent our design idea, similar to Japanese style Gundam design, simple outline but detailed.
3.随着市场的成熟和选择性的增加，迷友对玩具的要求比以往变得更加严格， 关于KFC的材质选料问题，之前有迷友反映有欠缺和不足，请问KFC有怎样的措施去完善和提高？
As the market(3rd parties) matures and the choices increases, TF fans have demanded better quality for their toys since last time, have this change the way KFC chooses materials for their products? Previously, there was complaints that KFC toys quality was not up to standard, in what way have KFC improve itself and its quality?
KFCTOYS：我们在2013年开始创办，摸索至今已经有接近2年时间。玩具材质一直都是选用精料，绝不用回收塑料。材质偏软的确是KFCTOYS前期的玩具一个通病，也是心病。但是随着探索深入，我们已经掌握了牢固度更好的塑料，刚柔兼有，我相信随着KFCTOYS更加精品的设计问世，这种新的合金塑料，我们也会运用并推向市场。
We started in 2013, we have experimented for 2 years. We have always use the best materials, we never use recycled materials. Its true that the previous line of product material was not as strong as expected, its our biggest weak point, however as KFCToys progresses, we have a firm gasp of how each material works, both flexible and strong. I believe that as KFCToys new designs come out, this new material will be in the market with the now toys.
4. 我们知道，现行的官方和第三方都在进行重涂和改模，降低成本的同时也丰富了玩具的人物角色，但KFC的部分产品重涂，人物选择跨度比较大，比如KFC感知器重涂成了录音机和震荡波，这是一种大胆的尝试？还是一种创新的冒险？您对此有什么想法与迷友交流？
We know that official and third parties TF makers making slight changes to existing molds and repainting not only lowing the production cost but also increase the characters that we like but KFC repaints on very wide character differences, for example Blaster repainted to Shockwave. Isn't that a risky move? Or is it a innovative move? What's your idea and opinion on this?
KFCTOYS：我们设计师在尝试一个新项目的同时，也会同时考虑不同的重涂角色，以减少模具的成本。感知器重涂成录音机和震荡波，也是后期国外迷友的一种呼声。量产很少，只是做事某种尝试。今后也不会再有这样的反复重涂，我们需要集中精力做更精的精品出来，回报迷友的支持。
When we design a new character, we also think of different repaints of characters as it lower the cost if molding. Preceptor repaint into Soundwave and Shockwave is due to oversea fans demand. The repaints is in very limited quantities, its a experiment itself. There won't be such a repaint in the future, we need to concentrate on better design and better quality products for our fans and their support.
5. KFC通天晓可谓首个MP尺寸的一体通天晓，车型充分还原了G1形象，同时车型也参照了MP10比例，但人形的比例尺寸却非常巨大，以致与MP10的人形比例失调。当初是否是为了保证车形或者某些别的原因，从而在两种形态的比例上有所割舍放弃？
KFC Ultra Magnus is a massive MP sized Ultra Magnus, the alt mode is very true to the original G1 truck. The truck size is done in reference to MP10 however, the bot mode is massively large resulting in large differences in size in references to MP10. Its is because of ensuring the size of the truck mode or other reasons resulting in the bot mode differences in size?
KFCTOYS：KFC一体通的确在车型上和MP10相当尺寸，在人形上，则高出MP10有三个头那么高，正常的比例应该是高出一个头才好。但是一体通也是第一款KFC大胆尝试巨大型TF，所以当时也没有好好考虑这一点。实际上，集合车厢完全变形，高出三个头也是合情合理，毕竟官方的MP22在比例上，也差不多这么高。玩家们把一体通人形配MP01，车型配MP10，则和谐许多。
KFC have made Ultra Magnus truck roughly round the size of the MP10 truck mode, that said the bot mode of Ultra when up to 3 heads taller than MP10 bot mode, best would be one head taller. At that time, Ultra was KFC's boldest foray into the large MP sized TF, we have not considered that adding the trailer to the transformation resulting in the final bot mode to be 3 head taller than MP10 but after all the factors of trailers added into transformation, its reasonably 3 head taller, even the official MP Ultra Magus is around the same height. Fans compared KFC Ultra's bot height to MP01 bot height and cab mode to MP10's cab is very logical.
6. 在产品开发上，从配件到小磁带到各类不同人物，并没有像有些第三方产品开发有一定的规律性，请问KFC的发展方向是怎么样，或者有什么样的具体人物或者系列开发计划，可否向迷友们透露一二？（宏观方向性）
In product developments, from accessories to small tapes, 3rd party companies have never followed a uniform path. Which way does KFC development path direction goes, is there any particular character/s or line in development can reveal to us(in general direction)?
KFCTOYS: 我们在划分自己产品线方向是这么区分的：CST系列：磁带系列（Cassette Serial Toys）,KP系列（配件），EAVI METAL系列（MP尺寸系列）。主要是集中这三个方向。
未来研发方向，我们则会重点集中精力做EM系列，就是符合MP尺寸比列的人物系列，目前有MP系列的垃圾星人在生产中。磁带系列，我们会收集之前迷友意见，重新监修一些热门磁带，而且磁带A面会做出丝印磁带纹路，风格向MP靠拢。KP系列则是一些热门的小配件，考虑到我们主要设计师的空档期，我们也会偶尔尝试小配件。
We divide our product line into such: CST line(Cassette Serial Toys), KP line(Accessories), EAVI METAL line(MP sized line). Mainly this 3 product lines. Future direction will see us focus more on EM line, produce characters line in the MP sized range. Currently we have ??(not Wreck Car) series for planet of Junk under production. Cassette line wise, we are collecting fans interest and idea to re-do and reproduce the popular characters, side A will also include silk tape lines, style will be closer to the Masterpiece line. KP line will also feature popular hot accessories add on, depending on the designers free time in between bigger projects.
7.近期是否有什么新品设计打算上市，可否告知一些信息？
Is there any new product coming, can you reveal any?
KFCTOYS：近期将要上市的MP级别的录音机Transistor,以及他的小伙伴发条。弹射会和另一个新模具的侦探车一起发售。
Close to releasing is the MP sized (not Blaster) Transistor and his small buddy Clockwork. Transistor will also be release with Detective cars(??direct translation).
8. 关于目前国内如火如荼的第三方市场还有类似井喷的各公司新品玩具，KFC有何自己的评价以及自己的发展策略，走出自己的风格和路线。
Currently there's a host of new and existing 3rd parties TF exploding into the market with different directions and ideas, how do KFC plan to differentiate itself with its directions for its own styles and path?
KFCTOYS：这一年半的发展，我们学会了很多。之前的一路的磨合，玩家迷友们给予了我们很多意见，并且包容我们犯的一些错误。今后我们在塑料选料，项目选材上，会通过微博（weibo.com/kfctoys），facebook（facebook.com/kfcfanpage）和迷友进行零距离沟通。一款产品在大批量前，我们尽量回抽取一部分迷友，让他们把玩小批量测试样品，提出监修意见，我们采纳后，做出更加完美的玩具。
Through this one and a half year, we have learn a lot. Previous trial and error with many precious ideas from many TF fans whom have tolerated with our many mistakes. In future, we will announce our choice of material and themes on weibo.com/kfctoys and facebook.com/kfcfanpage to communicate with our fans. Before going into mass productions, we will have test samples for some of our random fans for feedback and comments on improvements of which we hope to improve upon for perfecting our product.
9. 关于即将上市的录音机，请为大家介绍一下配色，材质，配件，以及价格
Can you let us know the colors, material, accessories and price of the coming Transistor?
录音机采用防刮擦金属漆上色，材质是ABS（抱歉这款没有用到合金），配件是：高音喇叭*2，狙击枪*2，发条*1，发条头雕*2，发条武器*2，透明磁带盒子*1，玩具版头雕*1，动画版透光头雕*1（天线可以活动）
价格，预定价格预计在590零售。到货价格可能在620左右

Transistor is using anti scratch gold paint, material is ABS(sorry, Transistor have no metal diecast), accessories is 2 tweeters, 2 rifles, 1 Clockwork, 2 Clockwork head sculpt, 2 Clockwork weapon, 1 transparent cassette case, 1 G1 toy head sculpt, 1 G1 head sculpt with light piping(movable antenna).
Estimated price to be RMB$590 retail, outside possibly around RMB$620.
