This. Their Cyclonus was great. No need for a third-party one that'd cost a friggin' ton more money.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Here's some more info on this from the TFW2005 Message forum:
"The independent group KFC Toys has just revealed their next project via their Weibo page, which will be "Tempest" an unofficial Cyclonus figure. We have several pictures of the new project already as well as a translation of some details:

"Passed the test, began mass production. Size Class V, accessories: Target Warrior * 1; weapons * 2; the subsequent two and three boxes of the new composition Chug & Thug series, starting three will. Stay tuned!"

No pricing information is up yet, but with the figure being roughly voyager sized we can start to speculate on pricing. Keep it locked here on TFW as we update you with any more details."

Yeah, I agree.

I'm not buying another Cyclonus unless its slavishly IDW.

I agree . Personally Cyclonus is one of the very best classics to date . i just recently sold half of my classics and i couldn't part with Cyclonus .

The alt mode on Tempest looks really good and the robot also but the horns are a bit much for my taste.

KFC however always seem to have me half impressed with there prototypes then as soon as they slap those horrid block colors on the figure they turn to **** .

Here's whats left of my Decepticon army (In the middle of decorating there shelf :D ) .

Ha ha, "Target Warrior"! = )

I agree with the majority of you all - not really necessary to do another Classics Cyclonus, even if it's a larger figure than the official one.

I found some more info about Tempest over at the TFW2005 forum. Scaleface is reporting Tempest is 16cm tall in robot mode. The name of the line Tempest is in wil be called Chug and Thug. This toy will have Two regular guns and one Target Master. It's expected to be released in about a month.

Probably won't be buying this. Due to 16cm translating to 6.3 inches tall in robot mode. I measured the HasTak 2.0 Cyclonus in robot mode and it's Six inches tall. Seriously think it's pointless spending $80 to $100 for a 3rd party Cyclonus that is only .3 inches taller than the HasTak toy. For me, This seems like one of the more wasteful 3rd party TF toys.

It looks like i'll be buying the Decatoys Cyclonus toy. That is rumored to be a Eight to Ten inch MP TF Scale. This is the scale I want as I want it to be scaled evenly or a bit bigger than the MP TF Seekers.

Is this the rumored Hypnos? I ask because some are not entirely sure which TF character Hypnos will be. To me it sounds like it could be a TF Character who could hypnotise others like a Insecticon, Soundwave, Mindwipe, Ratbat and others.

It's hard to speculate why Deca Toys would name a Cyclonus toy by the name hypnos. Unless their referring to the hyp for Hyper speed and the nos for the long nose cone in jet mode.

The joints on this toy have me a bit worried. Seeing so many cheap infeior joints and not any strong ratchet joints. Think it's acceptable for tiny TF toys to have a lot ball joints. Bigger TF toys like Voyagers and upwards, Think need some ratchet joints. Not liking all the pins joints I see on this toy.

If KFC wanted to enlarge a character that already has a solid hasbro release, they should have made a bigger Astrotrain.

KFC didn't enlarge Tempest by much. The HasTak 2.0 Cyclonus is already a Six inch tall robot mode. This KFC Tempest is only 6.3 inches tall. This is the reason, I am not buying this.

Had Tempest been around Seven inches to Eight inches tall in Robot mode. Then I would have bought the toy. Just don't need Two similar sized toys in my collection.

If Hastak or a 3rd party Creates a Voyager or Ultra Sized Astrotrain toy. I'd buy it buy it's gor to look different than the 1.0 toy. Love to see a old school Locomotive train and NASA Shuttle vehicles modes for a newer Astrotrain toy.

The HasTak 2.0 Cyclonus toy can be used in this pic, it's Six inches tall in robot mode. The KFC Tempest is only 6.3 inches tall in robot mode. Don't think 0.3 inches more is going to add much difference.

This is KFC we're talking about. We`ll get about 10 releases of this Targetmaster in different colors, but the only ones anyone will actually want will be packed in with Cyclonus or in a 3-pack with 2 things they don't want.

Thanks for the pics. Looks a bit better in color.

Need a size comparison next to 2.0 Cyclonus, To find out the true inches height of this toy.

Think this needs a whole bunch of painted on details on all the parts on the toy. especially on the abdomen stomach area.

Would have been more hit and less miss, Had this toy been Eight inches tall in robot mode.

I'm not a fan of the proportions on this or the lack of paint apps .

I hope they learned from Citizen Stacks that KFC figures need a LOT of paint on the first run , that's what stops me from buying them it's just block colour with no details picked out .
