I get popeyes every sunday. Everything on the menu is good. You guys should also try their fish, shrimp, and po boy sandwiches.
Alas, with my somewhat finicky pallet, my choices are limited. I don't care for seafood at all, so fish and shrimp are out. I don't like lettuce, pickles, or mayo; so if I ordered a Po Boy it would basically just be chicken tenders on a roll. And while I'm sure the roll would be good, at that point I may as well just get tenders and a delicious biscuit. (Or two.) And, of course, some sweet tea. (Just because I can make it myself for home use, doesn't mean I still won't drink theirs while eating at their establishment!)
Every Sunday, eh? I envy that. My girlfriend and I already have plans for dinner that night (making homemade calzones!) or I might have suggested we stop there. We have a group of friends we get together with most Sundays whose place the localish Popeyes is not too far a detour from, and she usually doesn't need convincing to go there, anyway. She'd likely not think twice about killing a man if it got her a Popeyes biscuit. (I exaggerate... slightly...) I suppose we could try and plan on a trip in the near future, though.
*cough*
Oh yes. KFC Tempest. I watched Peaugh's review, and much like I was expecting I wasn't too impressed. Even if I wasn't biased against figures that are covering territory Hasbro'd already done, I think I'd think the official toy was the winner here. I will grant that the KFC targetmaster is much better, and if it was available separately for something cheep like $10.00 or less, I might have considered it as an add-on to the official Cyclonus. But other then that, I shall stick with what I have, thank you.
