They're good not great quality for the money initially, but once you understand how the mold works, it becomes a joy to assemble and fine tune. I had to sand down the elbow hinge to allow for proper articulation. The middle piece to the spoiler needed to be super glued in. When you get everything together and you have your version of the classics hot rod mold, it makes you feel it was worth the money. The paint applications on the official Sons of Cybertron Roddy are the best you're ever going to see. I would say you go with the official. Gotta tell you though... these DIY kits are addicting.
