After getting tired of Kre-o Transformers coming apart in storage, I decided to fix the problem so that everything would stay together while in storage between photo shoots.
Super glue.
I've thought about it for a while, but didn't think it was a good idea because of obvious reasons. But while working on the galleries for the new Kreon Micro-Changers, I got really tired of pieces coming off, having to refer back to the instructions to make sure pieces are correct, etc. So I super glued pieces that didn't need to move together. Problem solved. I own two sets of every Kre-o figure I've bought so far so I've got one in robot mode and one in vehicle mode. Now that I've started super gluing the sets together, I won't have to worry about them coming apart between photo shoots.
I also figure that in ten years, when PDF files are hard to find for Kre-Os and when my instructions are long lost, that I'll appreciate my super glue solution to avoid frustrations of figuring out what goes together.
I've only done this on the Micro-Changers so far, haven't done this yet with the full sets but will once I start working on galleries for the full size sets again later this year.
Has anyone else done this or is this crazy?
