Those low shoulders and scrawny legs really look off.
The only cool thing is that the range of movement and articulation is excellent.
So I tried to do my own rebuild.
I only used parts that came with the set.
I also based the principles of assembly on the manual, doing my own improvements on a trial and error basis so, yeah, no instructions on this one sorry...
I started building on one simple thought: the head should be on top of the shoulder joint block. Everything went from there. Surprisingly, I managed to make him look closer to his G1 design. The shoulders still look droopy because of the huge forearms, but in a dynamic pose, it doesn't look bad.
The range of movement of the limbs are as wide as the original build, so poseability is excellent! It can even hold a kick pose!
Looks like I won't be dismantling this anytime soon...
