Lego Transformers

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Lego Transformers

Postby OrionPax23 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 7:26 am

Hello,

today i want to introduce my Lego Transformers. A topic which i've been working on since the year 2000.

Image

It was of upmost importance to me to not even build the vehicle mode, or the car mode, or just any transformation. My focus lies in rebuilding the entire G1 model INCLUDING its transformation.

In order to achieve that, i had to build numerous versions of the same character in order to get it right. Also sometimes i had to build a movie-version or an Alternators or five times the same G1 version in order to get my head around the build..

Image

Once i had a characer right, i moved on to the next one or took the challenge of doing a Combiner

Image

which led me to the path of doing even Triple-Changers like Shockwave
Image

currently i have to take a break of this until i'm ready to do sixshot including his six transformations ;)

If you want to have a look on all characters e.g. Whirl, Warpath, Mirage, Hound, Ratchet, Grimlock follow the link below

..until we all are one!

Hey! I know you from Flickr! I added you as a contact a while back.
Anyway, I absolutely love your work, especially how accurate they are to G1. Your attention to detail is breathtaking!

Looking at your work and not praising it would be an insult to your hard work.

Good job!

Does Optimus have remote control functions? It looks like you have a Power Functions remote right there

Absolutely stellar work! Hasbro and Lego really need to talk to you about making kits for these characters! :D Love the amount of detail too! :P One nitpick on Starscream though... the Decepticon logos on his wings should be upside down. Otherwise, congrats to staying so focused on your builds! Keep creating!!! :)

Those are insanely awesome. Do you only use stock LEGO pieces? Or did you modify or borrow pieces from other lines?
