That's my point. You said the price of this set was a deterant. An all new G1 perfect mold would be even more expensive. I used P X's version as an example bc that would be a comparable price of an original mold of that size.

Fans might be more willing to pay over $200 for a 3rd party Omega Supreme toy that was a all new mold. Instead of paying over $150 for 3rd party add-on parts to fix a toy most didn't like to begin with.
Instead of buying a 3rd party WFC Omega supreme toy for over $300 that looks nothing like the 1985 toy.

Aw, I was hoping for more track than that. Oh well, better than nothing. It's still looking good, imo.

Couldn't disagree more.

I think it takes a figure that looks nothing like Omega, other than the paint job, and turns it into a proper homage.

I don't have YotS Omega, but I will probably pick one up if this is reasonably priced.

So much talk about a $150 price tag. Is there any place where the price to be is posted officially ? Even though it has light up parts, Im thinking anywhere from $90-115. Thats just my guess. If I was trying to compete with Planet X and the new Omega coming soon, I wouldnt up the combined price past $200 (including YOTS Omega)

Most who guessed $150 gave a low ball number for the add on kit. Many expect the price will be well over $200 just for the add on kit.

There is no way this add on kit will only cost $90-115. there are just too many parts. also the parts are gigantic due to them fitting on to a Supreme sized toy.

And it's speculation that didn't take place in this forum. Perhaps it was over in TFW2005, but many of us don't frequent that forum. So, when a number is thrown around as fact, some, myself in particular, are confused as we saw nothing to indicate the price. Usually when a price is thrown in like this there is a preorder or message from the company or something to back it up, hence the reason I asked about a preorder. (Targeted at Tsutsukakushi, not the Good Doctor.)

(Oh, and I somehow like the phrase "Good Doctor." Hopefully you are not, like, evil or something...)

Well there is a completely new forearm plus headsculpt on the figure, so its not accurate to say the base figure looks nothing like Omega Supreme, paint aside. I'd wager that the vast majority of G1 fans would immediately recognise it. Anyhoo, it is a cool figure worth picking up, whether you decide to upgrade it or not.

Its like the x-transbots foc bruticus kit just on a bigger scale. You really should take into consideration the other omegas that are available that could make this set a shelfwarmer if everything together hits the $300 mark. Then people will just buy a new figure, be it genesis or the upcoming G1 version.

Those MT Add on parts are overly oversized on the YOTH Omega supreme toy. bigger plastic is usually thicker by default. so this will no doubt affect the 3rd party price for this. So many add on parts will also dictate a much higher price.

The only thing that might save & lower the price is MT is creating it. MT does have lower prices. Had TFC,TW or planet X made this,the price would have been through the roof.

Why are some saying,some of the add on parts have light up electronics in them? I assumed the add-on blaster pistol hand lite up due to it being attached to the space ship arm hand. that had the Hastak light up hand in it already.

do we know for sure if some of the add on parts have light up electronics built into them. or is this all speculation at this point.

Well there are pictures of the cannon arm lighting up in pink from the center hole. Theres also a pic in base mode which appears to have lights shining upward at the tower. Have you not seen these pics ?

Perhaps the Hastak light up spaceship hand lights up through a pink or red translecent piece of plastic in the 3rd party add on canon pistol hand.

It appears those two add on tower guns on the base mode have light up electronics in them. having electronics will make the price higher

MakeToys are such teases. How mean of them to show their upgrade on possibly the best representation of a Classics Omega Supreme, and it's not real.

May well still purchase depending on price.

I really like the look of this set on the YOTS Omega. It makes me really glad I didn't eventually break down and buy the Planet X figure. I'll be perfectly happy with my Omega and this add on set. Also, I really don't see this set being more than $100-$110.

1. This set doesn't look too bad. If the price isn't too bad I'll probably get it.

2. That pic with Hercules/Devastator... where the EFF did that face come from?! I can't tell if he's trying to look pissed off and failing miserably, or stubbed his toe and is in pain.
