yea i remember the hands being painted red.. that is in issue.. but we don't know how the new version of the mold is.. whos to say its just as tight? will just have to wait and see on that. and you don't like him as Ultra Magnus? that new head is a 1000 times better UM head then anything I've seen FP city commander included. but that's just my opinion.

Im comparing the tightness of the KO clips to that of the official version. Same tightness on both. Plus the edges arent rounded. Trying to press it on is how I scratched mine. Big mistake. If you really want to gamble $140 hoping they addressed this problem in regards to the Botcon painted arms, good luck. I wouldnt bet on it personally.

Also, whether you prefer the SG universe or the Diaclone Uuniverse (like me) I dont see Ultra Magnus for the upcoming Maketoys version. I see a G2 Laser Prime body with an Ultra Magnus head. I do however see Combat Hero Prime with this mold, with the KO being slightly more accurate in colors. Just my opinion. I dont collect SG as a continuity. I just collect classic molds of evil Primes and Diaclone repaints for my oddities shelves.

I'm not going to gamble at all. I will wait for reviews. I will throw a preorder on BBTS to secure it first though. show us a pic of the combat hero prime when you get it if possible.

The only people who have combat hero Prime are those who ordered them directly fro Hasbro Toy Shop. BBTS gets them later this month, but Im not shipping my loot until assualter comes in.

Only thing is, if you pre-order with BBTS, your credit card will get charged way before anybody gets it in their hands and puts up a review. I just got charged for Asia exclusives Bruticus Maximus today from BBTS. No video reviews out on that yet to my knowledge. Just "In the box images"

yea I actually have combat hero prime in hand. had it for over a week actually. BBTS puts a charge on your CC but that's just to get your info ready. no charge ever goes through until item is in stock and I plan to cancel it before they ever get it in stock. for now i want to lock it in just in case they sell out.

Seeing any reviews on youtube before your card gets charged is not likely. Unless some Asian collector who buys it from Robotkingdom gets it first and does a review.

It's entirely possible the MT people or the KO people will make a trailer specifically for that version of Prime. You may want to wait for that since it doesn't look like the blues match exactly.

no I will cancel before they come in stock. only placing preorder just in-case it will be a hard to come by item.

Hey, remember that KO of Maketoys Battle Tanker which was later revisioned and released by Maketoys at a later date, well I have just been browsing old pictures of both the KO version and the official version which got me to thinking.

With either version, wouldnt it be rather nice and possibly believable as a character homage, if someone like Hasbro or more likely CHMS got to making a WHITE version of the G2 Optimus Prime mold, making a rather cool Ultra Magnus, you know, like what usually happens?

Seeing a white version of that mold popped into the blue version of the Battle Tanker armour would be pretty sweet I think!

Would love to see that... for a reasonable price.

this is cool actually, i broke a part on my legit maketoys battletanker now maybe i can replace it with a ko without having to pay a shitload for a new battletanker!
