No, it did. I know you like to argue the silliest little points, but in this case you're pretty clearly wrong.
and you like to make proclamations that things are either "A" or "B" when clearly their are far more many possibilities.

no, im not wrong at all.
remember, im saying things from those films "may" have happened differently

you are saying they didnt happen at all............your claims are far harder to prove useing only the films, prior to the new one, themselves as evidence.

but please, if you want to waste your time trying to ,please do

Oh my God, they "may" have happened differently? Jean, Scott, and Xavier's deaths were all undone because of time travel shenanigans, but yeah, it only might have happened differently.

I'm really not going to waste my time, you're clearly just trying to make bad jokes.

so...you got nothing?
figures, fits your mo

and btw, we have no clue if their deaths were "un-done" and by what means.

Xavier returned before any time travel was used, from what we can tell

and comic wise, all 3 of these characters have died and returned before
so it could be they died and returned by some unknown event

Yeah we do. They were dead in X3, and then they're alive at the end of Days of Future Past. That's called being "undone." This is what I'm talking about, you're just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point, logic and facts be damned.

Alright, guys. Healthy discussion is good but let's keep it at that.

Scott and Jean were definitely brought back as a result of the time travel in DoFP, even though we weren't shown how exactly, and defeating the Sentinels has no bearing on the events of X3 anyway, not that I can tell. Xavier, however, was alive at the end of X3 as it was, so I don't think the "undone" made a difference to him anyway. Whether it was the original Charles, or the one in the come patient's body, makes no difference. His consciousness was alive either way.

Aside from maybe a "Jubilee Cut", I can't see what else they'd add in that would help the story. Maybe a half naked Wolverine running through the forest? It would appeal to the Hugh Jackman fans out there.

At that point he SHOULD be wild and not capable of conversation.

But that would require the movies to actually follow the comic books.

So rumours are it's going to be Mister Sinister for the 90s era movie though since they also really want a phoenix movie (and a dark phoenix follow up of course)

Wonder how they would do the shi'air on the silver screen.

That would be cool. I just hope finally a proper Juggernaut shows up. And even though his body doesn't hold up well anymore, I'd like to see Arnold Schwarzenegger be Mr. Sinister. If he's willing to go through the makeup. He did it for Batman & Robin.
though since they also really want a phoenix movie (and a dark phoenix follow up of course)
But wouldn't they have to have the Hellfire Club for that? I mean, I guess the Club can still be around in the movieverse, but Sebastian Shaw is dead. I don't remember what happened to Emma Frost, though. Maybe they'll make Jason Wyngarde the leader, since it was actually he who controlled Jean Grey.
Wonder how they would do the Shi'ar on the silver screen.
Costumes...? The Rock (Dwayne Johnson, whatever) would make a great Gladiator.

I think batman and Robin probably burned arnie out on superheroes. If they stick to the 90s toon appearance then finding someone shouldn't be too difficult, they just need to make sure they can act the part

I...really hope they don't do that, at least not without either a new cast or reusing the original one. The fact that no one has aged between '62 and '83 is already pretty silly, don't stack another decade on top of it.

No we dont.
They were dead in X3, and then they're alive at the end of Days of Future Past........sounds like it MAY have been due to RESURRECTIONS.

All 3 of these characters are known for returning from the dead in the comics, and 2 of them had already been resurrected in the films, Jean returned from the dead in X3, Xavier returned in "The Wolverine"...

so NO, being "undone" is not the only possibility in play here This is what I'm talking about, you're just making bold proclamations that things can only be 1 way but fail to back it up , anyway, its clear you want to drag this into the gutter

theres nothing "definite" about the case.

with out counting the new films evernts, there are other possible reasons for their returns

I really wanted to see a shot with Jean, Hank, Scott, and Warren in the film, even if it was a battle scene. IIRC, they were the original 4 in the comics, right?

did they ever all "this angle" warren?

The end sets up the original from 2000 real well, especially Charles and Eric's conversation with the line they spoke at the beginning of the original.
actully the lines of dialog you are talking about are from the END of the first film, not the beginning

Well, that's the good thing about opinions. They can be different from person to person. :)

As for the mother/son relationship, if they did that, they need to get an older actress than Jennifer Lawrence. If they kept Kodi Smit-McPhee as NC, he can pass for her brother, but not her son. Unless Mystique is actually a lot older than what Jennifer Lawrence looks like, and she just ages really good.

no need to recast, indeed the character is as old as Xavier give or take a year nor 2. She was about 18 at the end of first class, about 27 to 30 at the end of dofp, and about 37 to 40 in the new film

As for these timelines, in my mind, if they're going to work so hard to muddle and undo the timelines and movies and such, just so they can rush to kill off Jean in the Phoenix saga, then I say: screw it, it doesn't deserve to be argued about, because either way Jeans just going to die (that's how the phoenix saga's end, right?)

Okay, I actually enjoyed Apocalypse for what it did well. I do feel like it was just kind of an excuse to get young versions of those characters to show what they could do. Sophie Turner was pretty good as Jean Grey. None of the villains were really that stellar, especially Archangel. They actually did his story better in the mostly atrocious X-3.

I liked the Quicksilver scene, but I wish it hadn't been in the movie. After it was done so well in DOFP, it just feels gimmicky now. But the Weapon X scene was perfect in just about every way.

I'm stoked about the possibility of Mr. Sinister being in the next film, mostly because he was such a dumb character IMO that I'm curious as to where they'll take his concept.

Anyone wanna talk about the finale to Agents of SHIELD? Like, what are the implications of what Coulson said in that last scene?
Back at it again!
