we need more fire in the world.
If we'd just put our minds to it, we can do it.
Silly boys, everybody knows cooties can't be eradicated with mere fire
This is true. However, it is an important step. First you set fire to the infested area, then you stab the escapees.
I hate ponies! Because I hate horses, and ponies are deformed midget horses.

Seriously RhA, when are you going to reveal the name of that porn actress in your sig/avatar???
Arcee on the cover of Playboy, there's an idea, seeing that Bloodrayne has been in one.
No wait, some franchises shouldn't be mixed, I still have nightmares over Kiss Player Transformers.
Why Primus, Y U Do Dat???
http://www.plasticpolygon.com I 3d design and print! Check out my instagram http://www.instagram.com/plasticpolygon3d for some Transformers weapons if you're interested. The War for Cybertron standard machine gun is ready as well as the Armada Optimus gun (smaller) and a Robotech Gunpod.

so what's the big deal and why most of you whining like your 12? at least its not another gi joe tf crossover, be like oh look, its this crossover....again. man and the whole thing about a fandom trying force you to deepthroat a show does suck. especially when it was this fandom and a certain cancer called tf:animooted. my kids even hated tfa and it was geared for their age group.
bet if it was a KISS player on the cover we'd hear no bitch.
just sayn.

Why don't you remove the sand from whatever sensitive areas you have mentioned beforehand?

Sideswipe 00 wrote:Not "shoving" this down anyones throats but has anyone even watched the show? My little sister is a HUGE fan and some of the episodes are quite awesome. I for one approve this cover as it is completely in pinkie pies character lol xD. This not the death of IDW or anything. They wanted to merge two of there most popular franchises together for a convention exclusive. This is nothing more than a variant cover. So stop getting all upset that Hasbro killed transformers, ewww they got cooties in my transformers...the show isn't THAT girly. It is actually really well made and COMPLETELY different than the original. A lot of internet and pop culture memes make it into the show. Just watch an episode or two and try it before flying off the handle and ragequitting and QQ'ing about this. I definitely would like a few issues of this
Thanks to my 4 year old daughter, My Little Pony is a regular staple in our household alongside her Doc McStuffins, Littlest Pet Shop, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, as well as my wife and mine's shows with Transformers Prime, Psych, The Universe, Game of Thrones, Newsroom, Walking Dead, Girls, Grey's Anatomy, Smash, Nashville, and a slew of other shows we've got que'd up on our DVR.
The show isn't that bad. It sure as hell beats the 80s MLP cartoon which my daughter likes to rent when my wife takes her to the library. That show makes you want to blow your brains out. At least the new show has that Powderpuff Girls vibe to it, has some humor (c'mon ... Flutterguy? That was funny), and has some decent songs in it that my daughter loves to sing. It sure as hell beats watching Sprout, Thomas The Train, Sesame Street, Caillou, and "Nina" (though Sesame Street is a good show for kids, I'd just prefer to be subjected to MLP over that, and I'd prefer to have on in the background MLP over Doc McStuffins which my daughter is currently really into).
Our daughter has quite the MLP Friendship is Magic toy collection. The toys are pretty beat to hell, like they should be, because they've been played with a ton over the last year and a half that she's been into MLP. The Ponies are complete with missing parts, ratted hair, and crayon and marker makeup!
I looked up MLP Equestrian Girls (my daughter was pretty excited about that after I showed her some promo pics from Toy Fair) last night to see what was going on with that spin-off. I didn't realize it was getting turned into a full fledged movie that was coming out to theaters. We're going to plan a secret fun day for her since she doesn't know anything about it. I'm sure our daughter will love seeing her favorite ponies up on the big screen.

This I must respectfuly disagree with... to a degree.
At least, the earliest seasons, the ones directly based on the books written by the Reverend W. V. Awdry and his son Christopher Awdry, are classic, timeless stories based on real life and historical railroad events, helped brought to life by the narrations of such great perfomances by Ringo Starr, George Carlin*, and Alec Baldwin (and Michael Angelis for the UK version of the post-Ringo Starr seasons, but I haven't really heard his narrations yet).
It's the later seasons, the ones with the different theme song ("Engine Roll Call", which itself isn't too bad and kinda catchy, but not as iconic as the classic theme) and narrated by Michael Brandon that are harder to watch. Especially when they switched to CGI and started using individual voice actors for the characters, which kinda makes the need for a narrator a bit pointless. Not to mention the CG looks less impressive than the models did, which were designed to scale, very realistically detailed, and HUGE (seriously, the studio for the old show's model set was the size of an airplane hangar). Doesn't help that the newer episodes are just made up stories based on little realism and created a world of continuity errors with the original seasons (such as the nonexistence of the engines' drivers and firemen, who were prominently featured in the earliest seasons).
But, to each his own.
* - I chuckle at the notion that there was a time when parents would willingly let their infants and toddlers watch George Carlin in TV.

There's "meant to be funny" and then there's "actually funny".
And just so we're clear, I'm not saying that the replies haven't been funny because all the big bullies are saying mean things about the colorful horsey show I like; I'm saying the replies haven't been funny because they... well... haven't been funny.
Y'know... clever. Well thought out and constructed. Cool **** like that.

Amen to that!
Unfortunately, a good portion of the Transformers fandom is made up of vocal man children who can't accept change that ultimately doesn't affect their brand. Plus this is Hasbro here ans they can do whatever they want. I mean, we gritted our teeth througbout the Bay films and the Beast Hunters toyline so really, in the grand scheme of things, it could be worse.

You're absolutely right about that, though. We are having to deal with Beast Hunters, Mike Bay and we're holding in there, being strong and all and we've had our sense of humor surgically removed.
