Alright, since TF-M kicked me out of the other one ( ), here's my idea for the storyline:

Got an idea:

Plot It starts out the same way as Beast Wars did, but with almost all of them going into Stasis Lock (exceptions are Megatron, Tarantulas, Optimus Primal, Silverbolt and Protoform X). Seeing the extensive damages done to their ships, the Maximals and Predacons form an uneasy alliance, realizing that a war was pointless with so little resources and no weapons. During this time however, several stasis pods are stolen by Tarantulas, leading to the creation of some 'old' and some 'new' Predacons. Optimus doesn't agree with this, but he realizes that any argument on this could shatter the necessary alliance, so he lets it rest (for now). Many years pass and more and more Maximals and Predacons are activated, but they've become friends by now. But then everything goes wrong when they discover the activated Dinobots and Insecticons. They now realize that their suspicions were correct and that they ARE on Earth, and from the history datatracks they know that they must be in the Viking age, judging from the time of their activation. Megatron's ambitions are rekindled, and the peace starts to shatter as the Beast Wars finally start. However, to make things worse, some humans discover the Maximals and started seeing them as gods. Both the Maximals and Predacons soon realize that they need to take on the forms of the Earthern mythical creatures to either keep the humans at bay or use them as allies. But things go wrong again when they discover the Ark, and a battle ensues as the Maximals try to protect it and the Predacons try to take it. To make things worse, Tarantulas discovered the Nemesis and 'Hades', a barren landscape that was changed by a crashed part of Unicron. A reformatted Tarantulas comes back from Hades, and he leads the Decepticons to the warzone around the Ark, causing them to attack both sides and change history by accidentally reactivating some Autobots and Decepticons. After the Predacons retreat with their new Decepticon allies, the Autobots join the Maximals after they had explained everything, and reformatted themselves into Maximals. At the Predacon base, Megatron did the same with his new Decepticon allies/minions, but Tarantulas guides them to the Nemesis and Hades. Megatron sets his base up there, not knowing that the part of Unicron was alive instead of dormant, and plans to change the history of Earth to reshape the destiny of the combined Decepticon and Predacon forces.

This storyline changes a couple of things, though:
1. Megatron now sees his nemesis more as a persistent rival, due to their previous friendship.
2. Optimus Primal is more determined to stop Megatron by talking some sense into his foe-turned-friend-turned-foe, but he's at the same time more brutal thanks to Megatron's influences.
3. Silverbolt and Blackarachnia are still a couple, but their origins isn't as turbulent as their original meeting. This causes tension between the two, because their start wasn't as strong as it was in BW-OOC.
4. Dinobot hasn't joined with the Maximals, but starts to consider it due to his rival Grimlock.
5. Protoform X was never found by the Maximals and Predacons, but Depth Charge had already arrived on Earth and later allied himself with the citizens of Atlantis to bring him down and force him to guard their gates.
6. Tarantulas is now influencing both sides like Sideways and Noisemaze did in Armada and Galaxy Force, to keep the war going and giving him time to repair Unicron.

That's what I managed to think of anyways. Was toying with an idea to let this replace Season 3 and/or Beast Machines, but the headaches I got from that...

sometimes I wish I was a writer, just so I could critique it better...

you've got some good ideas in there, now we just need shin to get with you guys.

Very interesting plot as well, Ra.

Two things that really stuck out with me are the Dinobot/Grimlock rivalry and Depth Charge's connection with Atlantis (brilliant since I can have a better idea to toy with his design some more.).

Overall, I could see some elements being part of TFmaster's major storyline (epic).

Just had some more ideas:

-Alliance of the Dragons. Basically this is an alliance of all dragons and their commanders, with each ruling over a different section (Desraco over the United Kingdom and the other countries nearby, Megatron 2 commanding central europe, Galvatron commanding Asia). Of course they still want to either manipulate or attack each other, but most of the time they work together in accomplishing their quests. For example: Galvatron wants the Matrix, but it's in a European MaxiBot fortress. So he asks Megatron and Desraco to attack the fortress while they are on their way. They destroy it and take the fortress, but Galvatron doesn't know that Desraco helped Megatron replacing it with a fake while Galvatron wasn't looking, so that the European dragons now have it's power.

-Atlantis. I'm thinking about combining the actual myth with the Galaxy Force idea here. The Atlantians could have gotten their hands on Transformers technology, and quickly manage to copy it and build their entire civiliations with the help of the early Greeks, who later become Atlantians themselves. However, their land is constantly under attack, and they lack the knowledge of proper firearms. Then they find the corpses of Rampage and Depthcharge, and rebuild those, even managing to reinstall the trapped Sparks that were found inside the bodies. But where Depth Charge uneasily agrees to help them, Rampage quickly tries to flee. DC manages to stop him, but the Atlantians realise that they can't use Rampage, until DC suggets chaining him to the outer city walls. The Atlantians agree and do as he suggested, making a sort of underwater railsystem that surrounds the entire land. However, many years later Megatron arrives, and he wants his old ally back. Depth Charge and the Atlantians manage to repel his attacks, but then Megatron decides to try something else, and he weakens Rampage's chains before retreating back to Europe. Several weeks later Rampage finally manages to tear the chains, and starts destroying all of Atlantis. DC tries to stop him, but he's to late: Atlantis starts sinking and slipping to the ocean floor as Rampage eats anyone who try to get away. Devestated, Depth Charge restarts his quest to stop Rampage, this time once and for all.

i like it all with the exception the of the teaming up of the g1 and bw characters, seeing as how the G1 characters are gigantic compared to the Beast Wars characters.
